Ugly

I couldn't keep the smile off my face for the last few hours, and now my face hurt from smiling so much, I've just never been this happy in my whole fucked up life...it was strange and yet so exciting. 

Kyle had asked me to be his boyfriend! Me! Of all the people, he chose me! 

I felt like jumping up and down like a girl would do when getting asked out by the hottest boy in school, but I didn't since everything on my body hurt..it was painful just standing here in the bathroom messing with my hair. 

My body screamed for me to sit and rest, my eyes stung with sleepiness but I was to happy to do any of those things, I just wanted to dance and laugh and cry all at the same time.

My fingers traced over the purple bruise on my chin, the pain made me flinch moving my fingers away with a sigh. I looked like a mess...my whole body was beat up with new and old scars..I didn't want Kyle seeing my ugly body..it was disgusting.

Slowly my smile fell a frown replacing it. Maybe I didn't deserve a boyfriend, especially someone like Kyle. He was just so perfect, and me I was just a broken toy needing to be thrown away, what could I possibly give Kyle? 

All I really seemed to do is get myself into trouble and him come getting me out. He lost everything for me, his family, his pack and he even told me that that guy Mark had once been his friend and Kyle had killed him for me...I don't deserve him..he deserves better. 

I felt stupid for being so happy, why did I say yes? I could of said no and maybe he'd be better off without me, I'm only going to get him into more trouble he already has blood on his hands he doesn't need more. Looking down into the sink I let out a shaky breath. "I just need to go back home."

"What are you doing?" Jasper asked as he leaned on the counter the mouse sitting on his left shoulder sniffing the air. I stood at the stove pushing meat around in the hot pan. "What does it look like? I'm cooking Yuki something to eat, he seems small and a little to skinny..." Jasper narrowed his eyes. "Yeah it's been a bit since we ate especially him..uh, hey what about me?"

Rolling my eyes I turned to him. "Your a big boy make you something!" 

"Psh fuck you to ass." "No thanks!" I laughed going back to pushing the brown meat. 

Okay now for the seasoning. "Jasper can you hand me the taco seasoning?" He snorted. "Get it yourself!" He turned with a flip of his blonde hair and went back into the living room falling onto the love seat. "Whatever." 

I went to the cabinet pulling out the little pack of seasoning then back to the stove ripping the pack open and poring it over the meat, "mm smells good." I mumbled to myself a smile on my face as I mixed it up. 

Now I just need the vegetables. 

Slipping to the fridge I quickly grabbed the tomato and lettuce then going to the counter were the knife sat ready to cut. "Hey what you doing?" I jumped at the small voice almost dropping the tomato, "woo you scared me!" I laughed as I sat the stuff down and turned to Yuki who looked a bit depressed. "Hey, you okay?" He nodded a small smile coming to his face as he looked around seeing the food. "Wow...that looks really good!" "Yeah I hoped maybe you'd like it, Jasper says it's been awhile since you last ate...so hopefully this fills you up!"
