Yuki's POV

The cabin was practically destroyed, and in the middle of the room stood a angry neko and in front of me stood a girl who's back was towards me, but I didn't need to see her face to know who she was; the voice was enough for me to recognize her.

"You bitch." Jasper sneered. I looked his way not understanding what was going on, or what could of made him so angry. A laugh so familiar reached my ears and again I turned my eyes on my cousin. She didn't look to good. She was breathing heavily with one hand gripping her bleeding shoulder.

"What are you doing here Maggie?"

Both heads snapped in my direction, there eyes started at me. Two eyes full of confusion, and the other two full of announce. That one belonging to Maggie. 

"Well look what the cat dragged in!" She laughed.

I rolled my eyes and took a step forward. "Why are you here?" I asked once more.
Smiling she gestured around the ruined cabin. "Looking for a few strays..what does it look like dear little cousin."

"You know this bitch?" Jasper questioned his fist tightening. I only nodded keeping my attention on Maggie. "How did you find us?"

She touched the tip of her nose with a smirk. "My nose can do wonders."

That's right. I almost forgot;  She was a dam wolf...somehow I couldn't seem to wrap my head around it. Maggie a wolf? There's no way..but she had said it herself.

"Why are you looking for us?" I asked taking another step. She narrowed her eyes on me as she ran her bloody hand though her messy blonde hair pulling it away from her face.

She gave a smile, one that I was very familiar with and it sent chills down my spine.
Shrugging she let her arm fall to her side as she moved forward inching closer to me.
"Well." She started. "I was just wanting to check on my little cousin. I was so worried about you disappearing like that." She stopped in front of me the scent of her cherry perform reached my nose as she closed in on me the tip of her nose touching mine.

Just as I was about to step back her hand wrapped around me grabbing the back of my head keeping me in place. I hissed in pain when her nails dug into my scalp. "We didn't get the chance to catch up in school..I've missed you." She smiled her nails digging further. "So does daddy." She whispered the last part in my ear.

I stiffened with the mention of that man. My stomach seemed to drop with nervousness while my heart raced against my chest. I didn't want to go back. I don't wanna see him.  Does he know were I am? Is he coming too?

All the questions swimmed though my head, and at that moment everything that was around me seemed to disappear..

I was alone again, in the dark cold basement. I was being pulled by my hair and then beaten until I could no longer stand. I was hungry. I was cold. naked and in a cage meant for a dog, in the shed. I was alone.

The images ran though my head like a movie.

I collapsed. My knees hit the floor as I scratched my nails against my pained chest trying to breath. I can't breath, and the images kept coming.

Faint far away voices was heard but none was clear. The only noise I heard that was clear as day was the cold voice of uncle Max yelling at me.

"I don't wanna go back!" I cried out my hands gripping my shirt.

Suddenly hands grabbed my shoulders yanking me back. I screamed and fought trying to get away from his clutches. "I....don't...please I can't go back! KYLE!!!" I screamed trying harder to get away from them. They where pulling me into the dark, back into the cage, back into the cold. "S-stop!" I sobbed as the hands tightened around me pulling me back.

"Y-ki.."
A voice so far away...
"Come.....ba....ck..Yuki!"
It sounded familiar.
"Yuki! Baby!"
I relaxed and let my body fall into whatever it was that was holding me up.
"Are you okay!?"
It was Kyle.

Slowly I turned and buried my head in his chest as I sobbed and begged him not to let them take me. Strong arms wrapped around me pulling me closer and that's when everything shattered like a piece of glass and I was suddenly back in reality. I was back in the cabin and sitting in Kyle's lap.

"Get out of here!" He growled out his eyes glaring at someone above us.
It was then that I remembered Maggie. Or was that too in my imagination?

I didn't care to find out. If she was there I didn't want to see her, so instead I pushed myself closer to Kyle and his arms tightened around me. "I said get the fuck out!" He screamed.

"I can't believe your siding with them." Came Maggie's voice from behind me. She almost sounded sad. "Whatever. It wasn't like I was gonna drag him away. Such a baby Yuki."

Kyle growled like an animal.

And then there were footsteps passing us, high heels clicking against the hard wood. "See you in school boys."

After a minute Kyle's arms loosened from around me and suddenly I was being pushed away his hands gripping my arms. "Yuki what the hell was that about?" He asked eyes wide with what looked like fear and confusion.

I wasn't 100% sure what he was talking about but I had a good guess.
Sighing I pushed passed his arms and laid my head against his chest. My body was shaking uncontrollably and my heart was still racing. I wanted him to hold me, I wanted to feel safe.

He did just that and wrapped his arms around me once again.
"Yuki, you were screaming...a-and begging to not go back.." He paused his arms again tightening around me. "You haven't been home for awhile..and the.." He took a breath as if to calm himself before continuing. "The scars and bruises.." He pushed me away again and looked into my eyes. "Yuki..is there something I don't know?"'

My face heated up with embarrassment as I looked anywhere but at him.
I didn't want to tell him, it was no ones business..no one needed to know.
But he's my..mate? He bit me. We made love..maybe he has a right to know..but..what if he hates me? What if he thinks of me as weak and hopeless?

My eyes burned with tears but I pushed them back.

Taking in a deep breath I looked down at my hands then smiled and looked up at him with a shrug. "I'm just super clumsy.."
I could tell he didn't buy it. Who would?

"Yuki stop fucking lying to me dam it!"

I gulped and again looked down but as soon as I did my head was pulled back up by Kyle's hand. "You can trust me baby." He whispered his warm breath brushing against my face.

Biting my lip I narrowed my eyes and sighed.
He had a right to know. I knew that..and so with a deep breath to calm my nerves I told him everything and by the end I was sobbing again and even he shed a few tears.

I was held tight in his arms while he kissed my shoulders and every once in awhile I would feel warm tears land against my shoulder.
After awhile I found myself unable to hold my eyes open and eventually fell asleep in his arms.
