(A/N: Well, it's the moment we've all been waiting for! When Kacie and Remus become Mr & Mrs Remus Lupin! I'm writing this before I write the actual chapter, so I'm not real sure how it's going to go yet. But, I will say, this chapter is probably going to be very long, fairly fluffy, full of smut,  I'm sure & at the very least, some major 'newlywed soulmate she's already pregnant sex' at some point on their wedding day! 🥺😍🤭)

(SECOND A/N: I wrote this one after writing the chapter. And after adding all the lyrics and notes and warnings, the total is 27.5k words! This is the longest chapter I've ever written so I really hope it doesn't get too confusing with how damn long it is. But it is their wedding, so of course I am going to write a LOT! I may go back through at some point and add some GIF for descriptive content, but for now... there's already so much in this chapter. I feel like adding a bunch of GIFs will only clutter it up more. Well, I hope you enjoy!)

✨THE LUPIN'S COTTAGE - OCTOBER 27TH 1978✨

As Kacie stood in the center of the tent, Remus's arms wrapped around her waist from behind with his chin resting on her shoulder, she stared in awe at the sight before her. Lily had requested they stop by the Lupin's tonight before going their separate ways for the evening. Kacie would be staying with Lily at Hope and Lyall's, since that's where the wedding ceremony and reception were taking place. Luckily they had a few acres of open land, as well as some of the dense forest that lay beyond those open fields, so they had had a perfect layout for an outdoor fall ceremony and enough room to fit the huge canopy style tent that Jame's parents were letting them borrow.

The great part about saving money on things like venues, flowers for the arrangements and bouquets and the massive tent they'd need to hold their family and friends, along with some of the co-workers they'd grown close with over the last year. Now they were able to splurge on other things. Their table scapes for the reception were breathtaking. The glassware just sparked under the candle light, as well as the twinkling lights everywhere that represented the stars twinkling in the sky. But her favorite addition that was added fairly recently, as in within the last two weeks, was the projection of the night sky on the roof of the tent. The stars shown as bright as the real ones, then in sections, there were the constellations that meant the most to them. The constellation for Sirius, the one's for her grandparents, the star that James purchased Kacie for her birthday that was named after her Mumaw, all accompanied by the brightly glowing moon.

She was in absolute shock how amazing everything has turned out. Then again, the last few day, it seemed like everything was just surreal. It didn't seem like in less than twenty-four hours, they would be standing there as Mr. & Mrs. Remus Lupin. She was swaying slightly in his arm as they both gazed around the tent and took in the beauty while they could. They knew tomorrow, it would be kind of hard to take it in and have a moment of peace to just enjoy it all... so they would take that moment now. After a few minutes of this, Kacie let out a sigh of contentment and leaned back further into Remus's embrace.
