✨ Act III - Where Do We Go From Here?/ Prisoner of Azkaban✨
(A/N: So this is going to be the synopsis for Act 3: Where Do We Go From Here?/Prisoner of Azkaban. I can't believe we've made it 20 whole chapters! We're officially halfway through the book! For future reference, the first chapter is all about Halloween 1981, and probably the next few days leading up to that. I plan on ending off the chapter on November 3rd, 1981, since that would be Kacie and Sirius's birthday, only because I have a fairly emotional scene planned for the end that will be the starting point of what the entire first half of Act III will be focusing on. That's the part titled, "Where Do We Go From Here?". Then the second half of Act III will focus on the Prisoner of Azkaban storyline. Like I mentioned in previous A/N, I don't plan on following the exact HP Universe storyline, obviously... Most of this, never happened in the storyline, so I don't really plan on being able to follow the entire story as is. Especially since Kacie and the twins don't even exist in the actual story. Anyway, here's a little sneak peek at what I have in store for Act III! 😬)
🌜✨✨✨🌙✨✨✨✨🌕✨✨✨✨🌙✨✨✨🌛 On Halloween night, 1981, the lives of the Marauders changed forever. The events leading up to the evening of, really laid the path to what happened. And within a few hours, the lives of Kacie and Remus are turned upside down. Questioned about her own loyalty to the Potter's, and how Sirius's role in their deaths made everyone around them question her, Kacie's mental state began to deteriorate and Remus feeling helpless to stop it. He made a rash decision, one that could save his wife, possibly their marriage and their children from a life of scrutiny.
Kacie wasn't too hard to persuade. It was as simple as packing up and leaving. Getting away from the memories and the scenes that continued to play out in her head. The scenes that were very much trying to tell her a different story from the one she knew to believe, yet she did everything she could to stop them or ignore their imagery. The night wouldn't stop playing in her mind. Remus's suggestion made it possible for her to step away from the place that was making those memories run rampant in her head. Packing up the twins, leaving the house in care of Lyall and Samantha (Lyall's new 'lady friend') and taking the savings they had, the Lupin's took off on search of a new life. The way it will always be, just Remus and Kacie.
Their lives were a slight whirlwind at first, but getting used to 'life on the run' (even though the only thing they were running from were the memories) Until one day, about four years after taking off for a new life, Aurora (Kacie's owl) brought a letter to their small cottage they had been renting from an older couple in Ireland. The letter contained 3 pieces of parchment, one from Lyall, one from Dumbledore and the other from the Noble and Most Ancient House of Black. As she read through the letters, she found some very interesting things to be said in each. These key things are what brought the couple and their now six year old twins back to the wizarding world and back home.

As the task at hand was now to teach the young minds at Hogwarts, Kacie and Remus fell right into the professors routine and were quite successful at it. The favorite professors to all the students, and within a few years, their twins were going to be students there as well. Needless to say, when the time came for Harry to enter Hogwarts, the twins having been there for a year already, causing havoc with another certain set of red headed twins, and two Marauders for professors? Hogwarts didn't know what was coming. Especially when in the twins fourth year, word got out that they may have an escaped prisoner mass murder traitor uncle roaming the wizarding world.
Kacie and Remus were beside themselves with the news. Kacie didn't know if she wanted to kill Sirius before or after she hugged him as tight as she could. Maybe she'd catch him on the Astronomy Tower and she'd do both at once. Just fling him off the side while embracing him. Remus on the other hand, had no plans on having any type of friendly reunion with his ex best friend. As a matter of fact, the more he thought about Sirius roaming free, well as free as he could get with Azkaban and the entirety of the wizarding world after you, it made his blood boil.
After having a very in the moment 'chat' in his chambers with his wife, they both decided that it was best that they let the dementors take care of the twin if they spotted him anywhere. They would simply detain him. It broke her heart to even think about sending her twin brother to receive a dementor's kiss but it hurt more knowing what he did.
But a chance meeting with the twins, Padfoot is able to plead his innocence to his niece and nephew, in which more mischief ensues as they try to prove to their parents the innocence of their uncle. While still trying to stick to the plan to bring the rat to uncle Padsy.

(Well lovelies, that's the description! There should be about the same amount of parts to this act as the first two, so probably around 10! I hope everyone enjoys!! I'm dreading the first chapter! 😩😥 But I'm excited to write the professor/twin student children stuff! Ohhhhh you all are in for a treat with the teenage Lupin twins! They give their Marauder parents a run for their money!🤣😬)
