(A/N: Ok, so this chapter I'll be trying something a tad bit different. I've had this planned since the beginning of act II but didn't want to say anything because I didn't want to throw off the flow of the story. I'm going to be creating SOMEWHAT of a crossover, in the form of character borrowing. I didn't want to mention it and have someone maybe not possibly read it thinking it was an entire crossover. These two new characters will only be in the story for the next few chapters and then circumstances will take them away from the plot somehow. [no spoilers] and you don't need to know anything about their actual characters because they're having somewhat of their own storyline in the fic, so it doesn't follow much of the show's character arch's. But if anyone has seen the tv show 'Once Upon a Time', I'm referring to Emma Swan & Killian Jones aka "Captain Hook". Like I said, their story here doesn't have much to do with their characters on the show, so I have basically made them into my own characters, with a bit of the 'Once Upon a Time' aspect to it. I hope this doesn't throw anyone off! And if so, just bare with me, they won't be in the story long. But I had the idea and had to run with it! This ones a bit shorter than normally... but still nearly 13k words! I hope you all enjoy! 🌙✨)
