We hope you guys are enjoying our story as much as we are enjoying writing it! Of course, we are not as experienced with writing as other authors but we'd really like it if y'all vote and comment!

love, F.A.M. <3

Tate.

Balls like these are so fucking useless. The rich and the 'big bad' mafia's all get together to support one charity. The lucky charity this year is the Children's Defense Fund. Half of these mafia's kidnap children for a living but they put up the 'I'm so sweet and innocent' act like they are so great and giving to the world.

Stupide. [Stupid]

Not to mention all the fucking prostitutes walking around. Don't get me wrong, I love a tasty woman every now and then, but these women are sometimes part of the business. "You have the deal if I can have your wife for a night" are sentences that I hear a little too often for my own good.

And the best part? The husbands fucking agree. Like what the actual fuck? We're not fucking objects.

Eh, I guess the ball could always be worse ya know? I'm not complaining about the free champagne and I look too good to even be considered as one of the prostitutes. I have a beige blazer set on with a white corset top. Dominic is standing next to me with my arm hooked around his.

I'm lesbian which despises it when males flirt with me. This way, everyone thinks that I'm Dominic's girlfriend and they leave me the fuck alone. Atlas, however, is stuck with Samantha the whole day. Another one of his whores. Antonio forced him to go with a date because it is quote in quote "good for business".

Males are such a fucking weird species, only thinking about business and women. They should learn a thing or two from me. Like to live life a little. Not everything revolves around business.

"Nic, can you please go fetch me another champagne? I have a feeling that I'd rather be drunk tonight than not." I ask Dominic

"Sure, babe" He gave me a sarcastic look and chuckled upon seeing my reaction.

"Oh, I'm so killing you after this"

"You wouldn't be the first one to try. Do you know what happened before you got stabbed? I thought-"

"Shut up and go get me that champagne." I command Dominic.

I turn around after Dominic leaves to scope the place, just for my eyes to meet a beautiful pair of brown eyes.

Nysa? What the hell was she doing here?

She was wearing a light purple dress, almost lilac. The length of the dress was until the floor with a flowy fabric that was longer in the back than the front. Without noticing, my face formed into a frown.

"Hi, Tate," her sweet, soft voice says.

"What are you doing here?" my thoughts flopped out of my mouth unknowingly.

"I, I uh... My family is close with the Leon's, so they invited us. What about you?" she responds.

"I'm just here to donate to the children. It's sad, it really is. Children should all have an equal start in life. It's so unfair to some kids that live in poor countries. They should all have someone that will look out for them and take care of them. They should also all have a chance at education. So they can live their lives to their fullest. I just... really care for them." I rambled.

Fuck. I tend to talk a lot when I'm lying. Let's just hope that Nysa doesn't know that. I made a fool of myself, didn't I? Damn it. There goes my chance with the pretty lady in front of me.
