After so much bullying Izuku can no longer take it. He just wants the pain to stop. He never seriously considered suicide until he heard his "best friend" Kacchan say "Why don't you pray you'll get a quirk in your next life, and take a swan dive off the roof of the building!?"
Izuku was shocked, he never thought his best friend would say that. Then he thought about it and it made a lot of sense. He is just a worthless Deku who would only drag everybody else down.
"Without me Kacchan will have no competition at UA. I wouldn't have to disturb the class every time Kacchan beats me. No one in the class will have to worry about me accidentally doing better than them, because obviously the useless Deku can't be better than someone with a quirk. No one will miss me. Well maybe my mom will, but she'll be better off. She won't have to care for her useless son that won't amount to anything. Maybe then dad will come back and mom can have a kid with a quirk, a kid with a future..."
While thinking this Izuku finds himself walking to the roof. He writes a note to his mom explaining that everyone was bullying him, but instead of ratting Katsuki out he couches for him. He says that he's the only one who tried to help, despite him being his worse tormentor. After all, he doesn't want to spoil Katsuki's chance at UA.
With that Izuku takes one final look at the night sky and begins to fall. Then comes the sickening crunch. When Izuku dies he meets death who offers him the chance to follow him to the afterlife or stay on earth as a ghost. Izuku decides to follow him.
Sadly there's some... complications. He committed suicide so the gates of Heaven are closed to him, but his soul is pure so Hell cannot accept him. Purgatory isn't for humans, so what will happen next? Well he'll be given a job offer by Death himself. He'll become a reaper.

As a reaper Izuku is immortal with a wide range of supernatural abilities. His main abilities include deathly touch, invisibility, intangibility, soul sight, along with teleportation, and telekinesis. Most of the abilities you can infer for yourself.
