DaiSuga headcanon

Suga would often stress over too many things - school, volleyball, family, friends, college and relationships.

This overwhelming stress as well as his insecurities about himself lead him to hurting himself, relieving the mental pain by feeling physical.

When Daichi found out about Suga and his cutting, his heart shattered. Suga was damn well good at hiding things with a fake smile and cheery voice.

Suga broke down in Daichi's arms when he found out about his self harm. As much as Daichi hated himself for not knowing or realising how much pain his boyfriend was in, he kept his calm and comforting demeanour.

Once Suga had calmed down enough to form coherent sentences, Daichi gently took Suga's arms into his hands, pressing multiple kisses to every scar located on his pale skin.

Daichi looked up and pulled Suga into another tight hug, whispering in his ear.

"You are so, so damn beautiful, Koshi.. please stop.. I love you so much.."

Suga cried in Daichi's embrace again that day, hugging him and clinging onto his boyfriend tightly, just allowing himself to let out everything he'd been bottling up and hiding away from everyone for so long.

The ash blonde had been so scared when Daichi found out. He didn't want the other to think of him as disgusting or weak or pathetic, like he always told himself he was. But Daichi wasn't the sort of person to just up and leave for anything like that.

Daichi treated the scars like battle scars. Scars that stayed because they showed that Suga had gone through a war and was still a man standing. Scars thay stayed because, even if it felt like the only way possible to relieve his inner struggles, it was a reminder of what shit he wemt through and how he's still come out of it strong.

Daichi still loves Suga all the same, maybe even more than he did before.

And that's how it stays.
