                                              Timeskip Oikawa ends up having to give up professional volleyball due to his knee injury, meaning he had to return to Japan from Argentina.
                          Even though Oikawa was beyond heartbroken at what he had to do, he made a promise that every 3 months, he would fly over to Argentina to help watch over and coach younger school kids in playing volleyball. 
                          He kept that promise.
