"Another flow?" I asked before I wrote another report in my list. The jewels and jades were all coming, and there was nothing to stop the nature's production. As if the heavens blessed another part of our kingdom. Tirta nodded. "Indeed, we're not expecting this new part would be having so much gems."

"Wouldn't think this western side of the kingdom would be filled with golds and riches?" I huffed a mockery.

"Do not test my faith, (Y/N)."

I gestured both my hands up. "Oh, come on.. you've once told be how bored and unimpressed you were when you first arrived here."

"On your feet, soldier."

I rolled my eyes. "Speak to yourself--I'm a miner."

When she left to continue scout the mining tracks, I let myself out of the darkness' view. I inhaled a deep fresh air when the forest greeted my sight. Warm atmosphere, clear sky, and some fresh air were not a rare commodity for this part of the kingdom. For a loyal subject of the mining industries, I never questioned the gifts of the gods.

Which reminded me of the true blessing that had enriched this land: the Twilight Orb.

Speaking of the mythical powered ball of magic, I realized an appointment with one of the guardians. Not even a moment passed as his image flashed through my head, I cornered a smile before I quickly approached a small cabin: my home. The sunlight swiftly entered the room, illuminating the flooring from across the kitchen's window. I approached one of the cabinets and grabbed two containers, filled them with my recent specials, and accompanied the meal with some fresh berries.

I knew the berries were his favorite. The one thing he would protest when I forgot the particular refreshment. Which was never on purpose. And he acknowledge my forgetful habit.

Then, I packed the two container in one bag, and off to the path leading towards the forest's end. The gaps from above the gravel path guided the way, avoiding some crumbles to make me trip like many times happened. You're very clumsy, he used to comment.

Shut up, I always made up my answer.

Arriving at the huge-round structure, I glanced up my eyes to greet the brim of the tall wall surrounding the construction. Stiff and strong as it may be, it was required to guard the entity that had blessed us for the past centuries: the Twilight Orb.

The maze was made to insure the safety of the orb, from any threats and danger that could be lay upon on. Especially from any endearing reasons of the Abyssal Kingdom. Our arch nemesis, the opportunistic and sly corrupted people, had never stopped to succumb to any kingdom left portrayed. Their goal was only one, steal any powerful source of magic to use for their own advantage. Lucky for us, the minotaurs guarding the place were told to be the fiercest.

When I arrived at the gate of the entrance, I was greeted by one of them. One that I believed named Kharon. A friendly yet gruesome warrior minotaur. "(Y/N)!"

I waved him a good greeting. "Hey, Kharon."

"What brings you here?"

"Oh, just the usual. It's lunch time," I stated as I showed him the bag. "Where is--"

"(Y/N)."

The voice cut off my words. I turned towards the direction just to greet the hazel orbs staring back as they emerged from the shadowy part of the corner. They took off the mask covering most of their facial features, revealing the cut on the upper lip and the familiar jawline. The view had never failed to amuse me. Each time I landed my eyes on the thick chocolate hair, I always felt the need to ruffle them.
