Lancelot x Reader

"(Y/N) please give this to Lancelot, he is on his training today" your mistress, Odette gave you an order as she handed you a small towel and a water bottle.

With honor, you nodded and bowed slightly to give a respect to your princess. You worked for her for almost your entire life, you never betrayed her, always loyal to her. You are one of the castle's servant. Well, as well as known to be not a famous job, but you don't do it for the money. You just love to help the people that lives in the castle.

You walk across the long hallway, heading towards the big garden, where there is a huge large area where Lancelot should be training. He is knows as the princess' loved one, they are in a very sweet yet strong relationship. Even sometimes people get jealous.

As your figure went outside the castle's door, you didn't pay attention towards your steps. With a blink of an eye, your legs went upwards as you slipped your self. You widened your eyes as you knew you made a grave mistake. Before your body could reach the ground beneath the stairs, suddenly an arm wrapped towards your body.

As your body was falling, a figure runs towards you, quickly he catches your falling body. The small towel, and the water that you were holding constantly went flying upwards, it went down after you got caught. Just as your reflexes made your eyes widened, realizing that the person who catches you is the princess' love.

As both of the things that you were holding went down, it got a perfect hit on the person's head. The water bottle hit him pretty hard, but after it hit his head, the small towel landed slowly.

"You should watch where you are going next time Miss" he smirks as he let you go.

"S-sir Lancelot? I-im truly sorry for my lack of knowing my surroundings" you bowed your head downwards as your face are scared to be punished.

He picked up the bottle that hit his head, and drinks it with pleasure. He grabs the towel that landed perfectly on top of his head, and wipes it towards his neck to get rid of the sweats.

"Y-your head, i-is it okay sir? Do you need any bandages ?" you asked while slowly scratching the back of your neck.

"Do not be so ridiculous, i just got hit by a water bottle, not a spear. Im fine" he smiled as he handed the small towel back.

"D-do you need anything else s-sir?"

"No~, but the fact that i do need an opponent for my training, maybe you could train with me Miss?"

"M-me? T-train? I-i can't fight sir, im just a servant for Princess Odette"

"All of us needs some education about how to survive, or atleast how to defend your self. Come, i will teach you"

You widened your eyes as your shocking mind took over, you can't fight, you can't even walk properly, how do you suppose to fight the guardian of a princess? Well, an order is an order. You nodded as you followed him behind, he grabs a sword, similar like his. He handed the shining sword towards you, you grabbed it. But as soon as his hand let go, the sword instantly went down, but still on your held. It's very heavy, and it's the first time you are holding a sword.

"Careful, might be a little heavy. You need to get used to it though~"

His hand went through his long-golden hair, seems to people he looks unstoppable. You thought about him so. For a knight, he is pretty charming. Princess Odette is lucky to have him, or is it the other way around?

"First rule of one versus one, keep your distance"

He walks around you as he held tight his sword, pointing towards you. You positioned your self the way he did to him self, you bended your knees slightly like the way he did. You and him began to move in a circle.

"Rule number two, always keep your eyes on your opponent"

Your eyes narrowed as his vision is locked towards your blue eyes. You tighten your held towards your sword, as you kept walking in circle, so does he.

"Rule number three, keep on guard, and attack"

He moves his sword, slowly, purposely to make you guard. You did. You stopped his sword for moving towards you, as he stopped. He waves his hand to make a signal, for you to stop. He walks closer towards you as he went behind you.

"Do it like this" he spoke before your hearing.

The sword you held, pointed upwards as Lancelot's hand moved it, he is now behind you. Making you in the right position and movement. You realized something, this charming knight is very close to you. Closer than your life is now in your body. Without your realization, you felt a little red blush across your face.

He fixes your body in your position, holding the sword at the same time you held it. Automatically, his hands are holding yours. Your face turned red as he kept talking about the training. But none of his sayings was heard by you.

"....And that is the point, get it Miss?"

"H-huh? O-oh yes sir"

He nodded then he walked, stopped in front of you as his vision turned towards you.

"By the way, i never catched your name Miss, there are a lot of servants in this castle, i have never memorize their names"

"O-oh, im (Y/N) sir"

"(Y/N)...What a sweet name~"

You bowed as you walked away, leaving him standing, to continue his training.

I can't betray my princess for loving her loved one can i?
You thought on your mind as you walk inside the castle.
