Last day of Vacation

I sat on the sallow end of the ocean while the everyone else went in deeper, I always had a great fear of water and the ocean. Maybe because of the memories that I couldn't quite put together

" I thought Mom said no more taking shower together, because it's inappropriate?" My father scrubbed his hair, " oh no love she never said that" I shook my head.  I knew she said something like that, "what's wrong princess, you look scared" " I don't know, I think mom did say I wasn't supposed to shower with you anymore so I'm gonna get out" I pulled back the curtain. " No you don't"

I couldn't peace together my memory, it was scattered around in my brain. "Hey Lady from the bar!" Omg just leave me alone. "Hey?" I looked up at the same man who was at the bar, " so have you gotten bored yet" I shook my head no. I looked back at the group and all eyes were on me, Nat mouthed "are you okay?" I nodded yes.

" so I never got your name?" " y/n, y/n Barnes" he laughed, " Barnes, you said you were married so what is your real last name?" " Barnes, my last name is Barnes" he rolled his eye, " fine, but you should come hang out with my friends!" I look over to the group of boys trying to impress everyone. " No I'm good I'll just stay over here, with my family" he squinted, " you keep saying family?" " I mean yea there my family. I live with them" he looked at me than the group in the ocean who are watching this unfold,

"Come on you like my friends" he tried pulling me up by the arms, " let my wife go please" my eyes met with Bucky, relief filled my body, "okay" the boy smiled and dropped me on my ass, I hit the group with a thud, " dude, what are you doing!"

Bucky kneeled down, " hey doll you okay" " yea I'm fine" Bucky helped me up, a faint pain came to my head. " I'm sorry for the inconvenience, but could you please leave us alone" Bucky looked at the man with pure hate and anger in his eyes, "fine, all you freaks can have a lovely day" he marched away to his friend group, " wow, talk about a classic douche!"

I let out a chuckled, " it's whatever" he smiled, " hey Y/n you okay" the rest of the team made there way over, "yea I just took a hard fall when he dropped me" " I'm surprised Bucky didn't kick his ass" tony folded his arms across his chest, " believe me I wanted to" I pressed my hand to my head, there was no bleeding meaning I was fine.

" alright well if you want it head back into the water you guys can, I'm gonna go to the sand" everyone went back but Bucky hung behind, " I'm not gonna leave you alone especially when he is sitting right over there"  I nodded than took his hand and we went back to shore.

I placed an ice cube in my mouth and laid back onto the beach chair. Bucky had went to get me and ice pack and some water. A slight breeze blew past me, even though I hit my head and had to deal with another man hitting on me, everything was great.

We were all together, we were all happy. " okay doll I have the stuff" he placed the ice pack that was in a plastic bag on my head than scooted his way next to me, I flipped over on top of him and just laid there. I heard the light beating of his heat, I felt my eye lids grow heavy. I slowly closed them, Bucky played with a few strands of hair. He hummed a tune that sounded familiar, than I caught on. Our wedding song, I let my self sleep as he continued humming the song.

I felt my body moving, my eye lids shot open, "hey it's just me" Bucky was carrying my up stairs to our room, " okay doll let's get changed" I opened the drawer and pulled out a over sized hoodie and a pair of underwear, I stripped off the bathing suit and put on my pjs.

" come here, and get comfortable" he  opened the blanket so I could get under. I laid my head on his chest and my legs over top of him, " you look comfy" he laughed, " that's because I am" he pressed a kiss to my forehead and turned off the light. " goodnight doll"

——time skip morning——
I felt the cool sheets slide against my leg than the bedroom door shut, all I could come up with is that Bucky had went down stairs, I drifted off to sleep again. The second time I woke up, a bird hit the window, "what the hell" I walked over to the glass and saw a small bird imprint on the glass, " jeez" I pulled open the bedroom door and made my way down to the kitchen. I found mostly everyone in the living room, the others I could see where in the pool, " what time is it" " uh" tony looked at his watch, " 9:46" not to bad. I reached up for a bowl and grabbed the milk and cereal. Bucky was out by the pool so I'm going to eat out there with him. I pored the milk into the cereal than placed my spoon in, i opened the glass door and sat by Bucky. Him, Steve, Nat, and Wanda, were rough housing, " hey doll, you look great" I could tell he was referring to my hair and choice of outfit. " thanks" I took a bite out of my cereal, " so I was thinking" Nat walked over to me and rested her head on the patio, " today is our last day so we should just hang out here?" " sounds fine" " okay" she went back to play fighting with the boys and Wanda.

"Hey you can't do that" Wanda kept using her powers, " i kinda can" I leaned back into my chair. Bucky looked at me as if he needed me to help him, " I mean you are playing with a enhanced women so I don't she why she can't use her powers" Bucky rolled his eyes " hey I'm just telling you the truth!" I winked at Wanda.

It was a slower day, but because of the very quickly moving week we just had. It was nice to just lay down with the team and watch movies. I had my feet on Steve and my head on Bucky's lap. " alright" Pepper stood up, " me and Morgan are gonna start dinner" " oooo" I looked up at Pepper " what you making?" "Pizza, actually home made pizza" I smiled, " well hurry I'm hungry" she laughed and took Morgan's hand and went into the kitchen.  I took in the feeling of peace once more just because as soon as we get back to New York everything is gonna go wrong. " you okay doll" " I'm fine, everything is perfect"
