The reaction to both Alexis' and Judas' proclamation had produced some mixed reactions to those who had heard it, and let's say they didn't receive any sort of good reception from saying they would flip off god.

Alexis's perspective.

"Lidia: Wh-what..? What the holy hell could you be talking about..??" Lidia's reaction wasn't too bad, but it was still permeated with confusion and some sort of disgust. I never really looked into it that much, but it seems that the gods in this world were important to even spirits who didn't even walk the mortal realm normally.

"Alexis: Wait Wait- Just let me explain what I meant. There's something that I've been thinking about since I came here." Lidia breathed in and out, even though she had no need or ability to breathe due to being in her spiritual form still. She crossed her legs and began floating in the air, looking like she was slowly calming herself down. Sure, my proclamation was weird unless I explained it, I mean it'd probably be weird either way. But it didn't warrant her to have to go through breathing exercises.

"Lidia: Alright, explain."

"Alexis: Good, you've calmed down a bit. So, like, remember when you told me about the world tree? Like, the voice of the world, and stuff." Lidia nodded at this question.

"Lidia: Yeah, and what about it?"

"Alexis: I was thinking. There has to be some way that I was reincarnated here of all places, and not just sent to whatever afterlife or hell existed.." Lidia tilted her head but allowed me to continue my explanation.

"Alexis: There has to be a god, somewhere in the center, right? I mean, if we treated the world tree as the god of the world, then it would make sense that it was the mechanism that transported me to this world instead of just sending me to the afterlife.."

"Lidia: And by the afterlife, you mean returning to the 'Soul Circulation,' right?" I was confused at this new term, but I could sort of piece together what she meant by 'Soul Circulation.' From how it sounded, it was some sort of stream-like system that souls flew through after death. If my general understanding of the concept was correct.

"Alexis: By that, you mean some sort of afterlife.. right? I'm kind of imagining it like that, but I don't know." Lidia scratched the back of her head then.

"Lidia: Something like that, it's more complicated with that. But you've got a good general idea of it.. But, what do you want to do with the world tree..?"

"Alexis: Fuck.. I can't describe it all that well. I'm scared of the consequences of what I might do to it.. If I'll be able to do anything. But, I can't ignore this.."

"Lidia: Ah... I think I get it, you want revenge, am I right..?" I froze up, as best I could since I was already a stationary rock. I guess..

"Alexis: Yeah, I want revenge. I'm way too pissed off that I got dropped into this fucked up world.. I just wanna rest in peace.." Lidia then sighed, of course, she sounded disappointed in me for wanting to get revenge on a tree..

"Lidia: There are a few problems with you're plan but let me list the main ones.. First off, the world tree isn't sentient. It is the terminal of the world.. And so it only follows preset programs and it does not have any will of its's own, it is a machine. So, I do not know if that sort of revenge would be satisfying for you.." Of course, it isn't some sort of sentient being.. I had hoped it had some sort of consciousness so I could have a little fun when I got whatever revenge I was going to do, but that just shattered my hopes then and there.
