Lidia had been holding me in her hands for over 8 hours now.. I have absolutely no idea why, or what purpose this sort of thing had served.
"Alexis: Uh, Lidia ma'am.. What is this supposed to do?"  Judas had been forced out of the room by Lidia and directed to a bedroom, and so we were both alone with ourselves as she flung her eyes open in surprise due to not expecting me to actually respond as she was focusing on whatever she was doing.
"Lidia: Ah, I am purifying the Aethyr within your body, so we can begin our practice. Now, please be silent." Her refusing to elaborate on what this meant annoyed me to an extent..
"Alexis: I can sort of feel a fresh feeling in the Aethyr inside of me, but can you please explain what the hell that means?"  Lidia sighs, and then begins explaining.

"Lidia: There are a special sort of [Skills] in this world. These are known as [Arts.] To learn them, they require a special sort of Aethyr purity that only spirits, rare humans, and druids have. But.. Since you have a high concentration of Yggdrasill in you're body, and are an inorganic lifeform, I am betting on being able to purify your Aethyr so you will be able to learn [Arts] as well.." I assumed based on video games I played in my past life, that druids were a sort of creatures that focused on plants and the Earth.
"Alexis: Alright, that makes sense I guess.. Then, is the reason that Judas wasn't able to learn with me was because he wasn't a rare human?"
"Lidia: No, that's..." Lidia silenced herself for a few seconds, and took a deep breath in and out, of.. whatever spirits breath.

"Lidia: That isn't it, you're friend.. He is exceptionally rare, he would be able to learn [Arts] without much trouble, and yet.."
"Alexis: Then what? If it isn't a problem with him being human, wait.. Are you one of those generic non-humans who are just racist towards humans for no reason?" This then caused Lidia to start pouting.
"Lidia: What an incredibly rude accusation..! I am not a racist, there is just.. something about him that rubs me the wrong way. I do not know how to describe it.. But I feel that I wouldn't be able to properly teach him. It is sort of like.. teaching him would be as futile as an ant trying to jump to the moon."
"Alexis: The moon, huh.. Well, I don't understand what you mean by that, but if you don't wanna teach him anything I'm not gonna pester you about it anymore." I sort of got what she meant. I barely knew anything about Judas.. only that he was incredibly strong, and that he was some sort of explorer. It felt like trying to really pry into his past, or understand him was just as Lidia said.. 'As futile as an ant trying to jump to the moon.' And so I wouldn't pry or ask her to keep elaborating, since I didn't want to prolong whatever she was trying to do any longer now that I understood what it was.

"Lidia: Now, as I was saying.. [Arts] require an incredibly pure concentration of Aethyr to function properly. The benefits however, is you do not need to call out the name of the ability and it activates without  chants." Alright, those were some pretty awesome benefits. Now I really wanted to learn how to use [Arts.]
"Alexis: Well damn, why didn't you say so? That's awesome..!" Lidia sighed once more, displaying her own discontent with my misinformation on the topic.. Fuck you, how was I supposed to know whatever you were about to say?
"Lidia: Heh, I am not disappointed with you not knowing.. I am merely sighing at your childish burst of excitement." She saw through my mood instantly, and if I could blush I would because being called out on my childishness was the worst thing you could do to a man's pride! A man. Who was around 3-4 days old..
"Lidia: Hold your excitement for now. You may be in deep connection with Yggdrasill and my purification technique will also help.. But usually Aethyr could not be held by inorganic beings such as rocks. So they cannot use [Arts] or [Skills]..  I am worried about whether this will work."

"Alexis: Alright, first off... What the hell is Yggdrasill??" I asked, still puzzled about whatever that was as people kept mentioning it.
"Lidia: It's the world tree, of course! The voice of the world that speaks to all life.. Were you not informed of this by your friend?" Oooooooooh!! That's what the voice of the world was.. The world tree was connecting to me, as it does with everyone, and it also talks to me like it does for everyone. I expected it to be another drawn-out explanation, but this was rather straightforward so this is much better than just having a drawn-out explanation that I wouldn't be able to understand either way.
"Lidia: Still, even with such a deep connection.. The risks of this working on inorganic beings like you are a little too high for my tastes, [Arts] are a bit more fragile to work with when teaching them to someone. I mean, [Skills] can't be taught only learned oneself so it's even harder then."
