'he's fucking late. again.' you thought as you stood in the cold november air, hugging your jacket closer to you as a shiver ran down your spine.

it had been a month since you agreed to do seungmin's art projects in exchange for him being your personal driver and breakfast provider. but every single day for the past week, he had showed up ten to fifteen minutes late, solely for his amusement.

though he wouldn't tell you, he enjoyed seeing you angrily slamming the door as soon as you settled into his passenger seat, your anger quickly evaporating as he handed you your food. it was almost like a switch, from "i'm going to fucking kill you," to "omg yummy haha bagel yummy in my tummy."

he especially enjoyed the smile you gave him once you finished the food, it was almost worth waiting for twenty minutes almost every morning for your order. not only did it negatively affect his time, his wallet was also having a hard time coping with your stomach.

you plugged your earphones into your phone and decided to listen to music while waiting for him in case someone saw you standing in the middle of the sidewalk. you tried to look busy, opening and closing all your apps as if you had something to do.

finally, after what seemed like forever, seungmin's truck stopped in front of you and he rolled down the window, a smug smile on his lips.

"need a ride?" he asked as you tore the earphones away from your ear, stuffing them into the pockets of your jean jacket.

"yes, to the hospital cuz i'm about to kill you." you snapped, rolling your eyes and throwing your bag over to the backseat before slamming the passenger side door.

it was seungmin's turn to roll his eyes when he thrusted a brown paper bag onto your lap and you giggled excitedly.

"weren't you threatening me just a minute ago?" he asked, one hand on the steering wheel  and the other behind your seat.

"i was going to kill you by smothering you in kisses, silly." you teased, fetching a warm burger from the bottom of the bag and quickly unwrapping it, eager to take a bite.

"ahh, the magic of food." he nodded, smiling slightly and watching you eat from the corner of your eye. the rest of the ride was silent, with the exception of you singing along to random songs that played on the radio, and seungmin's chuckles as he made fun of your singing.

"shuttup," you said, your face heating up.

"no, no. continue! your voice is my new favorite sound." he joked, and you tried hard to act as if his words had no affect on you whatsoever, but your red ears betrayed you.

soon, you arrived at school, and to nobody's surprise, sana stood by seungmin's parking spot, wearing a sundress and a brown beret. her hands were on her hips, and she had a frown plastered on her face.

"why does she do that every single morning?" seungmin whispered, as if asking himself more than you.

"i wonder what it is today," you grumbled, grabbing your bag before climbing out of the car and turning to sana face to face.

"what is it sana?" you asked, hoping that her mood would lighten at the mention of your nickname.

"you forgot to text me 'good morning' and you wouldn't pick up my calls." sana frowned, linking her arm in yours in an attempt to steal you away.

"sana, we literally fell asleep on video call together." you leaned on her arm and she sank into your hug, wrapping an arm around your shoulders.

"yea but you disconnected and didn't even say good morning," she whined, pouting. you laughed and kissed her cheek, knowing that sana wasn't one to be bothered by physical affection.
