Astrea's name pronunciation : [uh-stray-uh]

unedited.

THE GUST OF WIND that burst over Astrea, nipped at her skin chillingly. Each harsh swish of the air, that grazed upon her body, felt as though she was getting pinched by a hand, that was previously dumped and held inside an ice cold bucket of water.

Astrea's brown orbs began to water, the frigid outside causing her eyes to become dry and irritated with every step of the way, while her face was beginning to become painted with a slight bit of ghostly pale coloring, and a splatter of rose pink hues had decorated the tip of nose, as well as the outer layer skin of her cheekbone.

The walk from the Crows Club, was not a long one, yet due to her time of being lazy and tending to just want to sit around and not go outside, made her legs ache with a throbbing consistency. It felt like she had through the Shadow Fold over trillions of times, without any consideration of taking a valid break in between.

It was only a matter of time before she was able to arrive at the desitination, Astrea desired to hear about any upcoming news. The words that voyages that held several passengers, had been occuring for days; the voice remarking that hopefully the Grisha and anyone else beyond that side of the fold would make it through.

Her heart held onto a promise that she will find news of everyone being alright, including her sister. Astrea knew that Alina would pursue the job and work of becoming a mapmaker, and chances were that she had become someone to become a passenger, or even just a watcher from afar.

Astrea felt many different things.

But most of all, she was scared.

Scared to see her sister, if she ended up on the other side of the Fold successfully.

Words cant describe, nor did they matter in the moment of dispair. If the two brunette ever collided, to be soon in front of one another⸺those simple letters that tumbled to be close, that had created terms mirroring vocables.

They were meaningless.

Apologies were not truly the honesty of the fellow phrases, unless you proved otherwise with a part of your soul given to the other.

And maybe, Astrea would find a way to express the feeling of being guilty to Alina, if she were to ever so see her. Then, the two would be a duo once again; trio if Mal is still once there. Astrea wondered if the two were as close as they were before, or even closer now that, what Astrea considered herself⸺the third wheeler⸺was out of the picture.

These were the only thoughts that had swarmed Astrea's mind, replicating bees in a field full of pollen.

The different plants grown, all the flowers lifted above the sea of grass, swaying in the mind; it looked beautiful at the sight, the mind of the human body would be corrupted with sentences and words that were formed to make them believe they were to be adored⸺as though the lilacs, tulips, roses and sunflowers were screaming to be picked and held.
