Betty POV

I just finished English which meant it was time to go to the Blue and Gold. I was walking with Archie and I wondered how things were with him and V. "Hey Arch, whatever happened with you and V?" I asked, sounding very curious. "Well, I talked to Jug and I want to ask her to be my girlfriend." He said while looking down blushing. "What?" I gasped as I screamed excitedly. "Calm down, but you can't tell her." He said as he grabbed my shoulders and stopped us from walking. "Ok. I won't." I said as I continued walking. We walked up to the Blue and Gold and I turned to Archie. "This is my stop." I said as I gave him a high five, signaling to continue into our handshake. After we did whatever, I walked into the Blue and Gold quietly, wanting to sneak up on Jug. "Guess who." I said, quietly giggling after I put my hands on his eyes. "Hmmmm, Sweet Pea?" He questioned while grabbing my hands and turning his chair around. "No! It's me, silly!" I shrieked as I sat down on his lap. He put his hands on my hips and kissed me. "Well, who else would it be?" He asked me as he pulled away from our kiss and pulled me into a hug. "I don't know." I said, being all giggly. "What's up with the giggles babe?" He asked me, starting to laugh. "I guess I'm just happy." I said while cupping his cheeks. "I don't mind it." He said as he put his hands on my cheeks and we pulled each other into a kiss. "You smell really good." I said as I got up off his lap and went over to my desk. "Thanks baby." He said as I sat down and started working.  "Baby?" Jug said after about 10 minutes of working. "Yea bub?" I asked back. "Come here." He said to me as he didn't take his eyes off his computer screen. "Ok?" I said as I slowly got up and walked towards him. I got over to him and massaged his shoulders until he pulled me down on to his lap. "Well hello." I said laughing. "Put your head down." He said as he nudged my head into his shoulder. I laid my head on to his shoulder, my arms around his neck with my hands playing with his hair, and my legs in between the arms if the office chair. "Comfortable?" He asked me. "Yea." I said quietly. He worked for about 30 minutes and there was only 10 minutes left of the period. "Bubba, I should probably get something done." I said as I pulled away slightly. He immediately pulled me closer to his body. "I got all your work done for you, baby. I just wanted you cuddled into me." He said as he wrapped his arms all the way around me and squeezed me as tight as he could without hurting me. "Awww. You're amazing bub." I said as he pulled away and gave me a kiss. He continued typing for the next 10 minutes and then we heard the bell ring. "Let's go babe." He said as he stood up, me still wrapped around him. I got down, grabbed my bag, and we walked out. We have gym next period and all it's going to be is rosters for who wants to tryout for what teams and sports. We walked in the gym hand in hand and sat on the bleachers together, waiting for the rest of the crew. The rest of the group walked in and sat down next to and around us. "You two are a little more cuddly than usual." Veronica said as she looked at us, eye to eye. "I noticed it too." Cheryl said as she slid closer to me. "Well hello there." I said as I started laughing. She backed away a bit and started getting closer to Toni. I noticed the two of them getting quite close lately. I know that Cheryl is a lesbian and Toni is bi so I don't know, it might work. They'd be cute together. "Well, Betts is quite the clingy girlfriend, but I don't mind it. It's cute." Jug said to reply to them. "Aww Juggie." I said as I wrapped my arms around his waist. "Y'all, the nicknames are going to kill me. It looks like they'll kill Kev too." Veronica said and we looked at Kevin to see him with his jaw dropped. We all started laughing until we heard Coach Clayton on the microphone speaker. His son is the popular jock, Chuck Clayton, who is a fuck boy and is mad at Jug for beating him at being captain of the football team. "If anyone wants to join our sports teams or our cheerleading team, go see Jughead and Betty at the tables in the corner. Have fun." Coach said over the speakers and everyone walked off. Jug and I went over to the table to already see a line of people. "I am in charge of girls sports, Jug is in charge of boys sports. I also do cheerleading. All tryouts will be this week." I said to every person as they walked up to us. We had 51 girls that wanted to tryout for cheerleading, 268 girls that wanted to tryout for sports, and 281 guys that wanted to tryout for sports. It approached the end of the period and we heard Coach Clayton come on the microphone again. "It is almost time to leave and I just want to remind you, Cheerleading tryouts are today after school, all girls sports tryouts will be tomorrow and Wednesday after school, and all boys sports tryouts will be Thursday and Friday after school. Good luck!" He said and immediately after, the bell rang. I had free period this period along with Fangs so we decided to walk with Jug and Kevin to English. Jug and I walked hand in hand while Kevin and Fangs talked. Not gonna lie, I definitely saw Kevin giving Fangs heart eyes. I'll talk to him about it later though. Fangs and I dropped them off, but not before I gave Jug a kiss. "Bye baby." He said as he pulled away. "Bye bub." I said as we both walked off. Fangs and I went to the student lounge and just talked until it was time to go to lunch.
