Nine Months Later...
All is serene in the Black family home. The one year old is waking up, bothering his mother and father. Breakfast is made and the family eats. The child are happy, the wife is ecstatic, and the man has finally put the guilt of his endeavors that occurred months ago away.

Unknowingly to the family, miles away a woman has also woken up, but not because of the peaceful chirps of birds or the giggles of a child. No. This woman was woken up due to pain all over her body. A cramping in her abdomen has been felt for the past few days, but now it's stronger than ever.
"Help! Help!" The woman calls out, begging for her midwife.
"Is it time?" The middle-aged woman gasps.
"Yes," the woman lets out another screech, one that could be mistaken for that of a banshee's if you were unaware of what was going on inside the manor.
"Alright dear, start getting ready to push, your child is coming."
After 48 long hours of labor, the melodic cries of a child could be heard, they're sound filling the room. And on December 25, 1981, at exactly at 12:00 a.m., a beautiful baby girl had been brought into the world.
The mother of the child takes one look at the girl and grimaces.
"She looks just like her father," the young woman says in a low, hateful tone.
"Would you like to hold her?" The older woman asks softly, clearly not picking up on the former's tone.
"No."
"No?"
"No."
The older woman looks shocked. A mother who doesn't want to hold her child. As though the child understands, she starts wailing, begging for her mother, begging to feel her warmth and comforting touch.
However the woman only snaps,
"Shut that brat up."
The older woman has a mixture of emotions on her face. Shock, fear for the child, and most of all hate for the woman.
"I'm sorry," the midwife whispers in a low tone, walking out after she puts the babe in her bassinet.
"You will have a terrible life, Cassiopeia Odium Black-Avery. I swear my soul on it."

An on that day, a newborn girl was left to the cruel and terrible woman that is Gwyneth Castillo Avery, and the worst part is her father wasn't even there to save her.
