Jules' POV

"Good morning, Sir Jules!" my secretary greeted me warmly.

"Good morning," I replied to her before I go inside.

"Mr. Dionson! Long time no see!" someone called me and like them, she greeted me as well.

"Miss Lee, long time no see," I replied to her.

"Yeah, Im so excited to visit your new resort. That's why I set an appointment to you," smiling she said.

"Oh, I see. No problem, Miss Lee..."

"Since Im here, so I just want to tell you. Im interested to invest to your new business."

"Thank you, Miss Lee. Of course you will. It's a right timing. Because Vermont Hotel is open for investment," I gladly to tell to her.

"Oh! Im in the right time. For sure, your new business is going to be a successful hotel."

"I'm hoping too, Ms. Lee. Thank you for your trusting to my company," I said to her.

After we talk my secretary come close to me.

"Sir, your sister is already here," she said that makes me surprise.

"Joanna is here?" I repeat.

"Yes Sir."

I quickly stand when she said that.

"Kuyaaaa!" And I saw her shouting while running to came over me.

"Ku ya! I told you and you are here. "

"What are you doing here? Why are you here so early?" astonished I asked her.

"Don't you want to? You're annoying, I'm excited to see you. Then you don't want to see me here," she pouted her lips.

"Of course not, Im just confused why you are here so early. Well, I miss you," I said to her.

"Talaga?" disbelieving she asked.

"Yes, so don't sulk anymore..."

Then after that she started to smile.

"Ihhh! I miss you, Kuya! By the way, where's Kianna, Jaxon and Thea? I want to see them," she asked.

"Maybe later you can see them, or you can visit them to my house. But for now, I need to do something. So I have to go, see you," I said to her before I kiss her cheek.

"See you, Kuya!"she said artfully.

LAURA'S POV

Nakahiga ako habang nagmu-muni-muni dito sa kwarto. Tinitigan ko ng maigi ang singsing na suot ko. Buong magdamag ako hindi pinatulog ng konsenya ko.

Hindi ko alam pero anong oras na di pa rin ako makatulog. Kaya naman bumaba ako para kumuha ng gatas. Mas mabuti na sigurong uminom ako para makatulog ako . Ayoko pumangit, nakakapangit ang pagpupuyat.

Bumaba na ako ng kitchen at kumuha ng gatas. Pabalik na sana ako ng kwarto ko ng may marinig ako sa labas. Kaya naman na-curious ako.

Dahan-dahan kong inilapag ang baso ng gatas bago ako lumabas. Halos tumigil ang mundo ko sa nakita ko.

"Ma'am Laura? Ayos lang po ba kayo?" tanong sa akin ni Jeckyll.

"A-Ah yeah, go on," wala sa sariling sabi ko.

"Ma'am, about po don sa new products natin na whitening lotion and Sunblock cream,  i-shi-ship na raw po nila..."

Hinintay ko ang susunod niyang sasabihin kaya napatingin ako sa kaniya.
