*The next day

Addison Pov:

I woke up at Amelie's. Last night we binged chick flicks and ate so much junk food. It was something I had missed so much. We even turned our phones off, and Amelie's mom locks them in a drawer so that we wouldn't be tempted to talk to those boys. We didn't even talk about him, but rather we focused on our friendship. In which both of us had dearly missed. Today would be different, though, as all the girls were coming over.

Am: Good Morning Adds

A: Good Morning Ame

Am: Moms cooking breakfast. So let's get up, brush our teeth, wash our face and then go downstairs.

A: Okay

We walked into Ame's bathroom and did our morning routine together. After that, we walked downstairs to see Ame's mom cooking.

Ame's mom: Go sit outside, girls. I'll bring breakfast out.

As Amelie and I walked outside, we saw Blake and Bryce. They either got tired of us not answering or worried and decided to show up here. I walked over to Blake, first pulling him into a hug. Before walking to my lovely boyfriend and giving him a quick kiss. The boys pulled out our chairs for us. And then handed us flowers, which meant something was really off, and I wasn't in the mood for the bad news.

A: What's going on?

B & Bl: Yall tell us. We've been calling and texting yall nonstop. Both phones went straight to voicemail. Why?

Am: Girls night without the boys. If something were wrong, you guys would know.

Bl: Well, I don't suppose you want to see this little guy

Blake then pulled out the cutest little wiener dog ever. Ame and I then begin to awe him as we looked at him in the eye.

Bl: Girls, meet kip. I've been waiting to get him for so long. And I got him last night. I was trying to send yall a picture. But, no, you two decided to go rogue and turn your phones off.

Ame mom came down and handed us the food she prepared, and let me say, it was definitely one of the best meals I have had in a while.  After we ate, the boys decided they would go out and do stuff and then come back later for dinner. I know that was Bryce's way of making sure I come home tonight, and I was perfectly okay with that. Amelie and I got ready, and by the time we were done, the girls were here. As we all piled into my g wagon, we made our way to the mall.

As I was driving, Amelie sat in the passenger seat. While Mads and Dixie sat in the backseat singing along to the songs. Today we were going to the mall to make our boyfriend's baskets. Well, not Mads boyfriend, but her situationship with Christian. As we began to walk around, Dixie finally spoke up.

D: So how's Bryce?

A: He's not himself. We actually had one of the toughest weeks. I moved out of the room into the guest room because he wouldn't look, talk, touch me. When I would talk, he would ignore me. When I would try to hold him, he would move away. It became too much. And when I moved out, he stopped coming out of the room as a whole. And then, when I was trying to leave with Amelie, he came in and spoke to me. He realized how he made me feel. Like at the end of the day, I'm not trying to say he doesn't have a right to grieve. I am just doing what he needs, and if that's space, then I'll give it to him. You know whether that means I stay in the guest room or with one of yall.

D: Well, if you need us, we are here

M: For sleepovers, and anything. We are here for you, Adds. I'm glad you let us in. Truly it's a complete honor.
