When we moved here it was boring. I mean, who really moves to Texas? Texas is a big, bad, boring state with nothing to do except watch how boring it is. I miss all my friends in Canada and I don't even know if I can find any people around here to be with. I can't believe my dad convinced my mom for us to move here, he probably just said that it would be a exciting change for once and that the kids will love it, well guess what dad, the kids don't love it. Today we just ran around unloading boxes and moving them because the moving people couldn't do anything right. My mom got to her absolute edge when they broke her china. She yelled at them so much that they got scared and drove away. My mom can be pretty scary sometimes but she's also really nice and patient. When I went to sleep I finally found the only thing in Texas that can comfort you, the stars. They were one of the most beautiful things I've ever seen. They were the most giant stars I've ever seen, bright shining like the Sun. that's the thing about Texas, there is so much of nothing, there has to be something, and here comes the stars. I decided to take a picture of it for when I move back to Canada because I am going back home, someday. I finally fell asleep when I woke to a rumbling sound, a wierd one. I do not know much about Texas so I didn't know what it was. Maybe a tornado! I yelled for my mom and dad and there they were already looking out the window to see it, then I saw it, and then my sister saw it too.
