After awhile of walking i found Jess crouching down next to a puddle. When i saw her face i could see she had been crying because he eyes were all puffy and watery. " What do you want?" she said in a pouting tone. " I want to say sorry, Jess. I didn't mean what i said back there, I was mad and-" Well just because you were mad doesn't mean you didn't say it." she said cutting me off. " I know that Jess, why do you think i would ask for forgiveness if i didn't say anything?" She stayed silent for a minute and i said agin, "That's what i thought." She then growled at me. Maybe i shouldn't have said such a fresh thing. " Sorry, Sorry!" i said to recover my fall before she got really mad. " Sorry,Sorry, that's all you say. It's just a word to get away with things,Lauren, it doesn't mean anything" I was getting frustrated with Jess now so i decided to finish it up before we got into a fight. "Well it means something to me, hope you feel better Jess." and i walked away. I know Jess doesn't like being alone or the cold and that's exactly what she was so i guess she decided to walk silently behind me back to Maxwell. When we got to Maxwell I couldn't find him and then i heard that fimiliar yelp. We found him splashing around in the water trying to get out but it was almost like the water was devouring him, trying to suck him up. I looked for something around that he could grab onto but couldn't find anything then, about to give up, i thought, The rope.
