jake, and karl are sitting in the living space while they watch we bear bears. "i cannot stress this enough," jake grabs blue. "karl is such a panda."
karls jaw drops, "he's basically the like... pussy of the group-" he says offended.
jake laughs a bit trying to keep his hands still. "it's fine shay is too." shay walks in. "shay is a massive pussy."
shay rolls her eyes and sits beside karl and hands him her two favorite colors; pink and black. "jake i am not panda!"
jake just laughs focusing on his nails. "i am definitely grizz." let's say jake doesn't have the most still and neat manicure.
"these?" he picks up the black as shay places her hand on his hand. "also jake you are ice bear. no questions asked."
shay starts laughing after hearing it. "YES! that is so true!" karl starts to lightly paint her nails.
the three continue watch the show as karl holds in a smile holding her hand with one and then getting painting with another. although shay as rewatched the first season way too many times, she's still invested in the show with her eyes glued to the tv. karl glanced up at a her a couple times. just noticing. when she laughs at the show and way she cares for these literal cartoon bears. and her smile.
"taadaa!" karl smiles as she takes time to look at the nails. they were neatly painted with alternating black and pink colors.
she smiles widely at the boy. "fank you." she pronounces with a lisp. "they're lovely." immediately her smile spread onto him.
"you okay there jake?" karl cracks a laughing watching the brother struggle a little bit.
"yea," he lets out a laugh. "shay usually does my nails." he sees karls face fill with slight guilt, "it's fine. i can deal with shitty nails."
"mmkay." karl smiles and faces shay with a childish smile. "my tuwn, shay." he continues the trend of baby voice. karl happily extra day his finger as she picks up the black and pink polish.
