Knock Knock Knock

I stood up from the soft couch, wondering who could be at the door. Slowly grabbing the door handle and opening it to a kid around my age. "Nice to meet you! I'm you're new neighbor kel, what's you're name?" Flinching by the sudden loudness that erupted from the energetic kid. I looked into the ground and said my name. "Y-Y/N." I mumbled.

"Huh?" Kel said in confusion. 'Great job, already embarrassing yourself. "Y/N." I said with the most straight face I could. "Hmmm, okay cool! Wanna hang out with me today, I've kinda got nothing to do... ever since the group has disbanded." He mumbled the last part to himself. "What do you mean, disbanded?" He looked at me upset, but nodded. "We were friends, but it all stopped when one of our members killed them self..." I was quite shocked by the sudden answer but nodded. 'I have to hang out with him, I'll look so rude if I don't.'

I grabbed him by the hand without making eye contact. "We can be friends?" By that sudden question his eyes lit up and he gave me the biggest smile. "Yes!" "Be right back." I said quickly making my way into the living area grabbing some spare change and putting on my shoes. "Mum I'm going out!" I called out for her as she just yelled out okay In response. I opened the door to see him day dreaming out by the end of the street, which he stopped when I closed the front door. "Okay, so the first thing I do whenever I'm out, is I go say hi to sunny!

But, he probably won't answer, he hasn't left his house in 4 years..." quite shocked by the answer I slowly nodded. "So was he one of the members?" I asked as we began walking. "Yes he was... there's Me, Aubrey, Hero, Basil, Sunny and... ...Mari." I nodded with a small smile, I bet you all would've been good friends. "We were, it's embarrassing though, me and Aubrey would always get into arguments over the most stupidest thing, and hero would have to break us up." He snickered a bit as we reached the front yard. "Huh? It says for sale... he's moving out soon?!" Kel screeched to himself as he gave me a frown. "That's it, he has to come out."

Kel began slamming his fist on the door repeatedly. "Jesus!" I flinched as he began shouting hello while also saying his name. "I was wondering... if you wanted to hang out one more time, I even brought a new friend with me before you go..." suddenly the door slowly opened, which revealed an emo looking kid that goes by the name sunny. 'So much for sunny... he doesn't even get any sun.' Kel froze and stood still. "Woah... You actually came out!" Sunny nodded as Kel just remained awkwardly silent after that. Sunny looked at me, he had no emotion. "Jeez, dead much..." I mumbled under my breath. "O-oh, this is Y/N they're just moving in, and now you're moving out. Coincidence right? Hehe... err... i mean okay I'm gonna be honest with you, sunny. I didn't expect you to come out today, so I don't really have a game plan here. I know! How about we all go to HOBBEEZ?" As Kel said that sunny stopped staring at me and nodded. "Lead the way." I mumbled as we began walking silently not saying a word.

"Hey, sunny? Why don't we get to know Y/N more, is that alright with you?" He asked me as I nodded. "Okay, so you live with you're parents right?" I nodded. "Mum and dad?" I shocked my head. I took a pause as they stopped in front of me. "My father left us the day I was born, he was supposed to see me. Unfortunately, he had left for some other woman." I spoke as I stared at the dusty pavement. Sunny looked upset, but I could tell Kel was upset too. "O-oh, sorry. I shouldn't have said that." I mumbled. "N-NO! Don't be, we're friends right?" I nodded. We entered inside the shop as the smell of new games engulfed the environment. "Well... here we are!" Kel said in a happy tone. "It's probably been a while since you've been here sunny? And
Y/N this is you're first time right?" We both nodded. He turned around to look at the environment. "It's all the same old stuff... CAPT. SPACEBOY games, SWEETHEART movies, a few pet rocks... except now they're vintage! Actually... since we're here, I should probabilities by a gift for hero. He's in collage right now, but he should be coming back sometime tomorrow."
