"So uhh... what happened back there?" Chan simply shook his head and turned away Yeonjun's question, to which the younger nodded and stayed silent for the rest of the rather rocky trip back to the now remains of Jinyoung's building. Neither of the three were exactly sure what had happened or how it had happened but the building had collapsed much more earlier than it was intended to.

Their safety was supposed to be reassured but instead, it was put on the line as they had to make a hasty retreat back home with half of their members missing whilst trying to help out Jisung, who had taken quite a hit as well as Chan, who caught him from colliding with the concrete ground that was sure to deal a heavy blow to his body.

Besides what had happened earlier, Chan only had two things in mind. Those two things would be to make sure that the rest of the members - who he assumed to be around the remains of the building - were alright or even alive at all and to find who had potentially sabotaged them and unlatched Jisung's grip to send him falling down from the balcony.

Although the two, Chan and Yeonjun seemed determined and confident about accomplishing the first goal, the third person in the current group did not. That being, Park Jisung, who anxiously yet sneakily followed after them. He didn't have much experience in missions and all but he was somewhat skilled in technology and coding. He was rather silent though, which wasn't of much of a benefit but it did somewhat work out as helping as they'd know that Jisung would know when to keep silent if needed to.

"Something must've went wrong back there... I know it." Chan thought, shaking his head as his sighed. Both Yeonjun and Jisung shared a look of concern towards the older but the stressed male didn't bother to look back at them and simply continued to walk. They both shared a knowing look before turning away and continuing to follow Chan.

"Someone deliberately sabotaged us..." Chan said to himself, looking back at Yeonjun who gave him a curious look whilst Jisung gave him a sympathetic one. His only worry for now would be if Changbin and the other person whom he forgot the name of was alright. He also couldn't help but to think about who could've sabotaged them. It was no coincidence and they didn't really have many rivals against them so it got him thinking real hard.

What reassured him though, was the fact that they were also against Jinyoung, seeing as they were the ones who clearly had the same plans as they did. "Could you maybe fill us in?" Chan stopped walking and turned to Yeonjun, tilting his head in confusion. He knew that he was most likely going to make a fool of himself as he did earlier with the argument he had with a certain ravenette in particular but he couldn't help but suspect that Hyunjin may be right about something.

And that would be that the pink-haired male was acting quite suspicious. Although it may be indifferent to the good old Yeonjun he knew for years and on, something about the slightly newer Yeonjun just didn't seem right. But then again, he could just be overthinking things as at this point, it could be anyone who he knows who could've turned against them at any time.

"Someone ratted us out... but I'm not sure if it's just a mere coincidence or someone had actually turned against us." Chan shared his thoughts, somewhat knowing that he was able to trust Yeonjun. Jisung as well, of course, since he knew that if Jeongin could trust him then he could too. "Do you perhaps know who it could be?" The older wasn't exactly sure and so due to his honest nature, he shook his head.

"Sorry..." They both turned to Jisung, who seemed a lot more nervous now that he had accidentally attracted surprised looks from Chan and Yeonjun. "For what?" Chan asked, looking at the curious pink-haired male and then at the seemingly anxious one.

"For not knowing much and all... I'm not really the best at helping with things like this and I'm sorry if I'm inconvenience to you both." The two looked at each other with a puzzled expression before Chan waved him off, reassuring the youngest as they could use an extra helping-hand after all.

"Why would you be an inconvenience?" Jisung looked at Chan nervously before shaking his head and shying away, gesturing for him to forget about it. Chan being Chan, obliged and proceeded to turn the corner. They weren't that far away, that's for sure. It was a wonder how you could practically hear fire in almost every alternate universe including this one because as soon as they had turned the corner, the building was finally in sight.

"Woah... what happened to that hellhole?" Yeonjun asked, seeing a window from what he assumed to be the remaining structure of the seventh floor fall down and crash into pieces on the concrete ground that they would soon step on.

"Bombed it." The now surprised male turned to him in shock, slightly impressed by the fact that Chan had managed to even get into the building in the first place. He always thought that Jinyoung might've had the top of the line security installed within his building(s). But seeing as Chan managed to get in undetected, it was clear that there were several flaws within it, sparking more curiosity than would eventually kill the cat. Perhaps even a human.

"Ch-" As Yeonjun was about to speak, Chan suddenly dashed towards the building, earning a confused look from the two who got completely dusted in the process. Of course, after recovering from the sudden shock, they both ran after Chan. "Chan, wh-" Seeing as Chan stopped, he put a sharp stop to his movements and ended up colliding with Chan's back, falling onto the roughly-textured ground.

Yeonjun groaned in pain. Jisung gave him a sympathetic look and reached his hand out for him to take, which he did, rather roughly, which caught the youngest off guard a bit.

"On second thought, maybe it's better if I just-" Chan thrusted his hand forward at Yeonjun, pausing the pink-haired male momentarily as he proceeded to pull out a knife that hung from the side of his belt. Jisung noticed this and immediately pulled out his pocket knife as well, stepping back as well just in case. Yeonjun, still confused, then looked up and could practically feel how tense Chan was.

Looking up, he watched as what appeared to be a person ran around them, hiding behind and between the remaining walls of the building whilst being able to catch a slight glimpse of the three. Yeonjun saw this and whipped out his pistol, only to be put down by Chan as it most likely could be one of his friends. His acknowledgment and hypothesis was indeed correct as within just a few seconds of putting down Yeonjun's gun, Changbin exposed himself and went to hug the older gently.

"Holy shit Bin, you nearly gave me a heart attack." Changbin chuckled, scratching the back of his head nervously as he smiled. He then proceeded to drop that smile upon seeing Yeonjun and Jisung, who stood nervously behind Chan.

"Chan, what happened to the others? And who the fuck are these two?" Chan gave Yeonjun and Jisung a calm look to reassure them before turning back to Changbin, who wasn't patient at all with waiting for his questions to be answered.

"It's a long story, that's for sure. I'll fill you in when we head back to the base." Although Changbin seemed hesitant about something, he simply nodded and followed after Chan and the other two as they headed back to the base.

Along the way, one felt a slight hesitation, guilt even. One felt nervous and perhaps even more nervous then he'd like to be. One felt curious and full of confidence. And the last one simply felt reassured knowing now that the group was almost all back together.
