Although Chan's eyes were already wide the entire time, he didn't think that it was possible for them to widen any more but they had just now. "You mean...?" Changbin instantly shook his head, knowing that he might've caused confusion amidst attempting to vent out his emotions as well as trying his best to try to tell Chan basically everything he gone through in simpler words but failed to do so, as always.

"No, no, I-" There came the frustration. It all hit the brunet like a bullet train. The horrible memories of being misunderstood and the horrible things that he had gone through all hit him suddenly as he was just trying to explain to Chan his mistakes. But instead of making it about Chan being allowed a second chance and improving as a person, he did exactly what he never wanted to do: make everything about himself.

"Binnie..." Having his childhood friend use that sickly sweet nickname with talking to him again just made him feel so vulnerable in the situation that now, he wanted nothing more than to have kept his mouth shut in the first place as now he saw just how weak he was.

It wasn't even about mistakes or regrets anymore, it was about his pride and seemingly high ego falling from the pedestal as now he became overwhelmed with his emotions for no good reason whatsoever. It was all so stupid and having nothing else to do, he attempted to storm out of the room but was stopped by Chan rather quickly as the male refused to let him leave like how he had let the others leave. Or, rather, made them leave.

"You can't just walk out like that because you feel overwhelmed." Perhaps Chan could've worded that better and he certainly could've after the reaction Changbin had to that response. "WHAT WOULD YOU KNOW ABOUT HOW I FEEL?!" If it were to be anyone who was the scariest within the gang, Chan would be listed somewhere up top, but it was as if Changbin had just knocked him off the top as now he was scariest yet.

He didn't expect for Changbin to react like that nor fully-burst into tears. Guilt started to sink in deeper than the titanic into the ocean as he hung his head low whilst still clutching tightly onto the sleeve of his clothing. "I've known you for so long... you'd never just walk out because you would get frustrated over the simplest things." Changbin slightly turned to him with a dark demeanor and shot him a glare, way past his teary and blurry eyes.

"Times change Chan, we can't just assume based off of what we know from each other during our childhood years..." Chan attempted to pry in half-way but was cut off regardless as Changbin continued. But this time, it wasn't as easy as showing empathy nor understanding as he'd be hit hard with the next statement. "...and maybe... you don't really know me." He paused for a slight second whilst walking further towards the doorway before continuing, "At least... not like you used to."

That was sure to leave Chan in thought for a long amount of time now as he was instantly taken aback by that statement. But after some time of denying it and attempting to reword his statement in a better way, he failed. Why? Because that was the best anyone could ever word it. He couldn't reword it and since he couldn't lie either, he could only simply accept the fact that Changbin was right. Maybe he didn't- no, not maybe, he truly didn't know anything about Changbin like he used to in and during their childhood years.

Regardless, he snapped out of his thoughts and upon returning his vision back to the world, he realized that Changbin had ran off and hung his head low. "What have I done...?" He silently asked in his mind, shaking his head side to side as small teardrops started to trickle down his cheeks out of realization and regret.

Of course, he wasn't just able to sit around in thought for much longer as after he had dried his tears, he got up and headed out as well. He ran out, too. Which caused the others, who sat around to avert their gaze towards Chan, who also avoided their gazes which he portrayed as shame and confusion whilst running away.

"Aww, how sad... such a shame that relationships break so easily..."

"Y-yeah... uhm... *****?"

"Yes?"

"That won't... ever happen to us... will it?"

"Of course not... don't speak of such silly things..."

"Right..."
