Wonwoo's POV:

I stared at her. She found my gaze and immediately looked away. If I haven't followed her, I wouldn't know that she's working here.

"Wonwoo, what are you doing here?" I was surprised at how Naeun was close to me. When I realized that, I backed off.

"I'm just checking on Mina. I'll wait outside." she said something but I didn't let her finish. I went to my car and waited there.

Looking at nothing, my mind went to what happened yesterday. Was I too harsh or was I just saying the truth?

After all these years, she showed up out of nowhere. I thought that I can move on, but maybe Tzuyu was right. Maybe I still love her. But no, I'm afraid to fall in love again. What happened in the past wasn't a big deal. I should just continue what I'm doing right now. I'm sure, I can be happy without her.

*Knock knock*

I rolled down my window.

"You should wait inside the shop." Naeun smiled.

"So, I thought you are busy with your work." Naeun sipped her coffee.

We're inside her shop, sitting beside the large glass window. Her shop is not the like others; small, comfy, warm. Her shop is more than that. It's for the rich; high ceiling, gold designs, bright lights. It's not my kind of mood.

"I took an hour break." I also sipped mine.

"Why are you here? I thought you're busy with your work?" I asked her the same question. Not long ago, I just saw her with a bunch of new employees including Mina.

"I thought you were suppose to be an example to them." as a grown-up fully responsible adult, I gave her my little piece of advice.

She then scoffed in a laughing way.

"You don't have to worry Jeon Wonwoo, I spend my time to the persons who I really like." gently putting down my coffee, I became uncomfortable at her statement. Looking at her blankly, she smiled.

"Then, you should take time for your new set of trainees."

She laughed at my words.

"Oh, don't tell me you don't like them?"

Her once joyful emotions were crushed by my question. If she really owns this shop, she won't waste time for people like me. Because people like me, don't want to waste time with people like her.

"You know what, you're attitude is one of the factors why I really like you." she said casually.

"Well if you really like me, then you know that I already have a girlfriend right?" she seems that she's out of words because she's still giving me a smile this whole time.

"I'm fully aware of that. That's why I already have my plans. So, be ready Jeon Wonwoo. I'm not that nice at all." the bell rang and she soon stood up and went back to her business.

So, she's really planning to push our wedding.

I sighed heavily.

I didn't mind her but instead, I'll wait for Mina, no matter what.

Tzuyu's POV:

After what happened, I can't hide my emotions anymore. Living in this society with full of negaitivty sucks. Imagine that you're just doing your own business when suddenly, people come barking at you for no reason. They're even spreading false rumors.

At first, I don't let those things hurt me because in the first place, they're useless. But afterwards, I'm slowly breaking into pieces. Since I became independent, I feel like I got more weaker from time to time. I felt alone, I felt lonely.

"What else do you want Ms. Chou?" Mingyu cooked for me again. He cooked Tteokbokki with a lot of cheese, Seolleongtang, Kimchi, and rice for lunch. Of course, in our house. I mean, my house.

"None." I told him. Actually, I don't know what to feel right now. I'm not in the mood to think, I don't want to use my brain.

"You should eat with me Mingyu." to be honest, he cooked a lot. I can't eat all of these by myself. Does he want me to get fat?

He slowly sat in front of me.

"You're tired." well, I don't have the energy to say something. I said every word without a tone since earlier.

"Are you a dog? You seem to have a strong sense of smell. You literally smelled my entire emotions right now do you?"

He slightly chuckled.

"Health is very important Ms. Chou. You should be healthy." he gave me a big spoonful of kimchi.

"What's with a healthy body when I have an unhealthy mind." I rolled my eyes.

"Finish your food. Let's take a walk at the park after." out of nowhere, he really suggested that?

"Why?"

"Because, you've never been on a park right?" he's right though. Sometimes, we talk about something and I never noticed that I already said that to him before.

"Arasseo." I immediately took a bite of the food. He never fails to impress me by his cooking.

After tons of munching, we finally finished eating and went to the park. The park is filled with lights even though it's just in the afternoon. It's very lively to be exact.

"Here, ice cream." I was just sitting on a bench, staring at the kids playing near the fountain, when he appeared with a sweet dessert on his hand.

"Kumawo." I then licked the ice cream before it melts.

"I wish I can be a kid again. Look at them, they're so happy. They don't tend to have problems. They feel so free." he averted his gaze to me and then to the kids.

"You have a point. But being a kid forever won't help yourself."

"Your point?"

"I mean, you won't grow if you want to be a kid forever." I looked at him while he's looking at the kids.

"Problems will always come and I think that's the reason why we are growing. We grow so that we can handle our problems, so that we can learn from them. And after learning again, we grow more. It's more of like a cycle you know?"

I grinned.

"Well, look who's spitting wise words." I liked the sweet food in front of me again.

"By any chance," I added.

"Can you stay with me?"

He suddenly looked at me with his confusing look.

"I'm always alone but when you became my secretary, I felt relieved. I don't know what to do when you're gone." his eyes shone brighter as we both looked at each other.

"Don't worry, I'll never leave."
