2 YEARS LATER
Mina's POV:I walked, going to a café.
Christmas is very near, again. It's been two years without him. Every December reminds me of his existence, as well the things that happened in that month. It's like the highlight throughout I'm living.
Sometimes, I felt happy because it reminds me of him. I remember the time that I bake him cookies before Christmas. My moments with him was all wonderful. On the other side, it still hurts. All the pain never left, nor willing to let go. It's bittersweet, shall I say.
I hurriedly went inside the café.
"I'm sorry, I'm late." I sat down on a velvet couch. The person in front of me looked at me with wide eyes.
"You now own a bakery shop and you're still in your jeans and sweatshirt?" Tzuyu sipped her coffee in a gentle manner. She's wearing a long, simple, elegant dress. As always, she's fashionable.
"I can't help to be myself." I plaster a smile, which gained her a chuckle. At last, I became successful.
"I already ordered you a coffee and a cake." She put down her cup on the table. The cake looks good, so I immediately tried it.
"The cake is good."
"By yours is better." I laughed.
"You're comparing cakes now."
"Of course. It's even better than the Lee Pastry."
I then choked by her statement. It's been a long time since we talked about them.
"You should stop choking. Good thing that they're already in a different country. They closed down their business because of bankruptcy. Also, it's a relief that your father went away after he rejected you."
I sighed. After leaving Wonwoo, Mr. Lee still left me. I shouldn't have done that to Wonwoo, I should've have let him stay. I was wrong about him.
"I can smell that you're still reminiscing that past." Tzuyu caught me off guard. I brought my cup and sipped some coffee.
I sure am.
"Affected." I clearly heard how she purposely slurped her hot coffee in front of my face.
She likes to tease me from time to time nowadays.
"When will he come back?" I asked her but the latter coughed. Once again, her cup landed on the table in front of us.
"How would I know? I don't even know if he's still alive or something." She knotted her brows and looked at me with annoyance.
"He didn't even attend the wedding of our parents. He said he'll comeback, but he didn't. He's late. He's really late." In a sudden, her emotions changed really quick.
Yes, another surprise. Mr. Jeon and Mrs. Chou finally got married. They wanted to cancel it, but they decided to go on with it since they don't really have a glimpse of idea of when Wonwoo will comeback. The situation was unpredictable. We're not sure of anything here.
"What is it you want to tell me again?" She replaced the topic of the reason why I really came here.
"Mom says we'll celebrate Christmas at our house, because last year we did it in yours. We'll cook food so you don't need to worry about anything."
"Tsk. Tell Mrs. Myoui that we'll still buy more. Don't worry, I don't have any problems with spending my money." She flipped her hair, of course, stating the obvious.
"It depends on you." I smiled.

Mingyu's POV:
"More salt." I mumbled as I continued to cook.
I'm in Tzuyu's house right now. If Wonwoo is here, then, it's their house. Honestly speaking, the past is still haunting me. Whenever I recalled those memories, it gave me the guilt feeling that I experienced before. I always tried convincing myself that it's fine, but it's obviously a lie. Can I turn back time just to make things better for the people around me?
"Ugh." Tzuyu appeared out of nowhere. I actually woke up from my thoughts because of her sudden appearance.
She proceeded to sit on a slim stool behind me in their long kitchen counter. Surprisingly, she lays on the desk like a tired kid that comes home late from school.
"What are you cooking?" She asked while still maintaining in her position. Her face was a total blank.
"Kimbap and Seolleongtang." I casually said.
"Finally, something to eat." She blabbered. Silence was about to pass but she unknowingly blocked it.
"What is this black box in front of me?"
"It's and advanced Christmas gift from Gucci." I turned my back to see her reaction and it's just what I expected. She rose up from the dead finally.
"Yeoksi. I know that being the new brand ambassador of Gucci is the best thing that happened to me through my lifetime." She brought the gift up and admired it as the light shined at the magical object.
"I'll put this gift first upstairs and change. I'll be back." I nodded and she hurriedly went upstairs to do her business.
When she came down, she suggested that we should watch a movie. So, we ate at the living room instead in the kitchen.
"Cheers." Our glasses clinked and she drank a whole lot of it. Don't worry, we're just drinking soda.
She continued to eat and focus on the movie while I was still distracted by my earlier thoughts. I keep looking around the place and all I could remember was the past. Maybe I got too paranoid thinking about it. But because we don't anything about Wonwoo, it feels like I'm the reason why he left. Of why he will never comeback.
"Are you still thinking about it?" I felt how her head softly landed on my shoulder. She knows about it.
"A little bit?" Unsure, I answered.
"Please, it's not your fault. You can't live forever when you're still holding the past. Let it go Mingyu. Be happy now. If you still can't, I'm here to help you." Tzuyu looked up and leveled her gaze with mine.
"Maybe I will." I said in a low voice, hesitant if I can do it.
"No, you should." She was very certain in a lot of things and it somehow gave me the courage to do what I need to do. She then cupped my cheeks and pecked my cheeks.
"I'll be here."
