#17 Spending Time With You

Wonwoo's POV:

We arrived at their house. Time flies so fast that it's already dark.

"Wonwoo thanks for the ride man." Jeonghan hyung patted my back through the opened car window.

"Sure, no problem."

"Bye, stay safe." Jeongyeon noona added.

I stepped on the gas but it's not working. I was confused so I tried stepping on it again, but there's still no progress.

"You don't have any gas left?" Mina asked who is sitting beside me.

"It's already late at night, do you want to spend the night here?" Jeonghan hyung suggested.

Me and Mina are just sitting on the small couch, watching the television. Their house is actually pretty small. To be honest, not so many people can fit in their living room. Maybe five is enough, but I still found it cozy after all. We actually ate dinner beforehand so we're not that hungry when we reached here.

"Please handle things there properly. Call me when there is an emergency." I rubbed my temples when the hospital called me.

"Yes sir."

I ended the call. I'm just worried about my hospital. What if something bad happens when I'm not there?

"Are you busy? Is it an emergency?" Mina then panicked a little.

"It's fine." I furrowed my brows which made her to scoot back away from me.

"I'm sorry. Our house is far away from the gas station and no, we don't have any charger for your phones." Jeongyeon noona put a tray of tea in a the small wooden table in front of us.

"It's okay unnie. By any chance can I borrow your phone?" Jeongyeon didn't hesitate and gave Mina her phone.

"Mingyu's not answering even mom. Thank you unnie." she then gave it back to her.

"The incident happened when Ms. Chou Tzuyu of Chou Tao Enterprises, or  likely known as CTE, explained what happened regarding to her accusations."

I immediately listened to the news.

"The crowd didn't believe her and thrown different things. She soon left with a man protecting her, known to be her secretary, Kim Mingyu which is also the model of her airlines. This is Hang Song Hyun, reporting."

"Are they okay?" Mina mumbled to herself and sighed heavily.

I was about to call Tzuyu but my phone suddenly turned off. How unlucky.

"Here are the pillows. Do you guys need anything?" Jeonghan hyung put the pillows beside me.

"No. Thanks." I replied.

"Then okay, we'll sleep first. Goodnight." the couple left us, leaving the two of us in here, awkwardly.

"You sleep in the couch, I'll sleep on the floor." Mina grabbed the pillow and arranged it immediately.

"No. I'll sleep on the floor." I grabbed the pillow from her and put it on the floor. I turned off the television as well as the lights. The couch is just beside me, which means she would also sleep beside me. But still, I think the height of the couch already gave enough space between us.

"Wonwoo?" she asked.

"Hm?" I hummed as a response. I'm closing my eyes and both of my arms are under my head.

"Do you think Ms. Tzuyu is okay?" I slowly opened my eyes and surprisingly, she's looking down at me. The moon reflects her eyes, making it shine so bright.

"She will." not giving enough glance, I closed my eyes.

Afraid, to fall in love again.

Tzuyu's POV:

That yesterday rest was still not enough for me. There are still so many things going inside my head. I still didn't get the time to think when Mingyu called my attention. To be honest, I did a lot of work. I make sure that my airlines is the best, starting when I worked independently. It's okay if they put all the blame on me, just not my airlines.

Looking at the wonderful view of my airlines from the topmost floor, helps me to calm down. There isn't a day where people are not busy. They keep coming and going. I wonder how they feel about choosing this airlines.

"Mr. Lee?" I was shocked when he's here again, but with Mingyu.

"Ms. Chou." both of us bowed down at each other.

"Are you here for another negotiation?" I asked while I crossed both of my arms.

"Ms. Chou, it's not that. I saw Mr. Kim out here and we talked to kill some time."

I looked at the both of them.

Well, they look a like.

"Are you guys related or something?" I asked, jokingly. They both just chuckled.

"I hope so." Mingyu smiled.

Woah, is he flattered or something?

"I'm sorry to say this but your bonding time is over."

"That's why I'm here Ms. Chou."

"What?"

"Mind if I can borrow your secretary for this day?"

"So you're robbing him from me?" I asked.

"It's not like you own him right?" innocently, he said.

I faked a smile. It's early in the morning and my blood is boiling again.

"Don't worry Ms. Chou, he'll return me later. Besides, I'm the one who asked him if we could meet. I just wanted to talk to him about something." Mingyu interrupted.

"May I?" he asked permission.

"Well, first of all, I don't own him. So, you may. Just make sure to be back later this evening, it's our busiest time later."

"Yes ma'm." the both of them left from my sight.

"Ms. Chou!" suddenly, I heard a familiar voice. It's Mina, Wonwoo's girlfriend. Fake girlfriend.

She walked towards me with a big smile.

"Wait stop!" I gave her a stop sign when she's getting closer towards me.

"What?" she immediately stopped. Her face is funny because she is literally shocked. She's clearly scared.

I tried to hold my laughter and brought back my natural self.

"That's Wonwoo's coat isn't it?" my lips curved and formed into a smrik.

"So, that explains that he's not in our house last night."

She just stayed silent.

"I'll explain later Ms. Chou. For now, let's go."

"What? Where? Why? Who? When?" there, I finished all the five Ws for her.

She smiled.

"I saw the news last night. I just wanted to know if you're okay. Maybe let's have some time. Girls time."

"That's so sweet of you." I smiled. She was nervous but she soon felt relieved when I gave her a smile.

"No." I then gave her a blank face.

"Ms. Chou, I know you're busy, but I just want to be your friend." her expression saddened.

Well, she looks, genuine. I mean, I don't have any friends. I'm a loser when it comes to that.

"Meet me downstairs. The car will be ready."
