Third Person's POV:
She looked at the ring on her hand as she raised it up towards the sun. The sun was lighting up, creating beams of light between her fingers. She continued to stare at it while she's sitting on the grass with one arm leaning behind her, supporting her weight. After all this time, she can't believe what happened to her.
A man suddenly sat beside her and gave a soft peck on her cheek. He smiled widely and so as her.
"Why do you keep staring at your ring?" He muttered and later rested his head on her shoulder.
"I don't know. Maybe, I'm still dreaming that I'm already married." He looked at her side profile and continued to smile.
Without any words, she also locked her gaze with his. The sudden connection of their gazes were so strong, as they both feel an attraction.
Cutting of that moment, someone sliced their connection in half. The both of them looked at the person who shouted not far away from them.
"Took you so long." Tzuyu, that threw them a crumbled piece of tissue before, is now rolling her eyes out of annoyance.
"Do you really want to die?" Wonwoo, as always, gave his darkest glare at his sister.
"If I want to die then I should've jumped off in this hill instead. Now come here faster." She went away but the latter didn't seem to get over with it easily.
Mina observed and laughed at his childish behavior. She ruffled his hair and his once, angry, expression faded in an instant.
"We're back in Yangpyeong again, as you promised. So, you need to be happy. Remember, it's just been months since our marriage." Mina pinched his nose and he nodded in agreement.
"Okay, got it." The both of them stood up as he held her hands warmly.
As soon as Tzuyu got back to their picnic site, she immediately sat on the large, yellow plaid, picnic blanket. Mingyu was just beside her, preparing simple snacks for the four of them.
"Where is the tissue that I asked before? I waited you for minutes because the jam already splattered on my hands." She looked at him and he also looked at her. In conclusion, they both looked at each other. For minutes.
"I crumpled it and threw it at Wonwoo and Mina."
"What? Aish!" Mingyu dropped on the ground. He was kneeling the whole time earlier, including the time where he waited for the tissue.
"Wait, why are your hands covered in jam in the first place?" She crossed her arms.
"The lid was too hard that I needed more strength to open it. Maybe I overpowered it and it splashed on my my hands." He laughed fakely.
"Do you know that that jam was imported from Taiwan? You wasted all of it and we didn't even start eating."
"Don't worry, we still have another one."
"Tsk. You're really clumsy." She shook her head from side to side and she then handed him a wipe instead. Tzuyu helped him with cleaning his hands.
"Eherm. Someone's really sweet." Mina teased. The both of them finally arrived at their small picnic area, where they can see the view of nature from above.
"Wow. How many days did it guys took you to arrive in the picnic area that was just meters away from you." Tzuyu continued to clean Mingyu's hands, trying to get off the sticky and sweet scent of it.
"You, it's been months since I came back but you still treated me the same. Tsk." Wonwoo pointed his finger at her. The both of them sat down on the cloth. They got food out from the picnic basket and distributed it to the others.
"Heh. Luckily, you escaped North. If not, you have been dead by now."
"Hey, don't say that. He's alive. Wonwoo's alive." Mina butted in. She frowned and pouted.
"He is. That's why he's here. Ugh, anyways, you didn't tell us the reason why you escaped North."
"Good question." Mingyu commented. His hands are finally cleaned as he sat down with a refreshing feeling.
Before Wonwoo could speak, he paused for a moment.
"When I left, I told you that they need a doctor right? Well, I became the doctor of the president's son. I treated him for months. When the president was away, he got a fake information, saying that we killed his son. Luckily, we we're about to go back to South at that time." Wonwoo looked at the skies above, reminiscing a frightening scene that occured in the past.
"How about his son?"
"He was already healed before we left. He even thanked me for being his doctor." He faint a smile.
"You suffered a lot my love." Like a precious gem, Mina insantly embraced Wonwoo tightly. She kept patting his head and pitied him. Well, he didn't complain because he liked it at the first place.
"Yah look at them." Mingyu scooted closer to Tzuyu. She rolled her eyes, ignored him, and started to full her mouth with bread. She knew what he's going to do next.
"They're very sweet. How about us?" He placed his arms around her shoulder but Tzuyu continued to plaster a blank face. Her instincts were always right.
"Nevermind. Just eat. Eat a lot." Just like what Mina did, he patted Tzuyu's head multiple times.
"I said not my hair." Her eyes got bigger at his actions. She warned him by using it as a offense.
Slowly, Mingyu's hand left her head. It was bizzare how she always found him cute whenever she teases him.
"Here." She looked away from his gaze when she placed a piece of bread near his mouth. She never wanted to do this. She was hesitant. But, to make him feel that she also cares for him, she tried her best not to cringe at the moment. The latter gladly accepted her offer and soon smiled with joy.
Eating and laughing. It was obvious that the four of them were having fun. When they finished eating, all of them laid flat on the cloth and looked at the clear skies above them. They decided to take a moment of recalling all the memories that they treasured.
At first, they may seem incompatible. Literally, how does the cold and warm match? Well, even though that it may seem impossible, it was never said that they can't meet. They have different personalities and they would prefectly fit each other's spaces to complete the puzzle.
Cold meets warm. I think they are incompatible. Are they?
Well to answer my question, I think somehow,
They can be compatible.
THE END.
