Ahhh, I'm sorry this literally took ages to publish! I've just been really busy with school and things. I've haven't seen "Fear" in awhile so I hope I got David's character right. Anyways, hopefully you've enjoyed the story <3

The loud music and people obnoxiously yelling faded from your ear, as your arm was grabbed and you were dragged into the bathroom. "What the hell y/n?!" The man yelled, releasing the harsh grip from your arm.

"Look, David, I wasn't flirting with him! He's literally just a friend," you said rolling your eyes. This wasn't the first time David interrogated you about one of your male friends, it actually happened quite often. At first, you thought he was just being overprotective and the whole situation was even sweet, but now you felt like he just wanted to control you.

David scoffed, "Friends don't look at each other like that. He was practically drooling all over you!"

You could feel the anger burning in your chest, you were just so over David not trusting you at all. "Why does it matter?! I told you I don't like him, shouldn't that be enough?!" You screamed. David looked slightly taken back and honestly, you were too, you never really yelled at him before, you were always too scared.

It only took a second for the shock in David's eyes to glitch back to angry. He came up really close to you, gripping your shoulders tightly so you were held in place. "Because you're mine," he growled through gritted teeth. "And I will kill anyone who gets in my way." He empathized kill while staring at you dead in the eyes so you knew he was serious.

You squirmed and managed to break free from his tight grasp, "You're crazy, David. Just leave me alone." You quickly ran out of the bathroom and back into the raging party. You pushed past people, whispering 'excuse me' under your breath. Eventually, you broke free into the dark light, dimly lit by dull streetlamps. You walked swiftly, cursing softly about how late it was.

At last, when you reached home, a sudden new fear flooded your mind. Your father. What was he going to think about this? He warned you about being late before, but what really concerned you was that he starting to put down a few drinks before you left. Your father was not a nice man, he was extremely strict, rude, and showed no love for his children, but he was never dangerous. At least, he was never dangerous when he was sober.

You creaked the door open softly, hoping that everyone already had gone to bed, but your father rocked in chair a few feet away from the door. As soon as he saw you, he jumped to his feet and immediately began scolding you, "Where the hell have you been? Do you know what time in it?" You answered by shaking your head while gazing at the floor, too scared and timid to even make eye contact with the man. "Well it's almost 2 in the morning!" He shouted, getting closer to your face.

"I'm sorry," you mumbled in a whisper.

"Speak up!" Your dad screamed, now gripping you harshly by the shoulders.

"I'M SORRY!" You yelled at the top of your lungs, finally making eye-contact with his puffy, red face. His jaw clenched while his veins were bursting through his neck, he almost looked like one of those cartoon characters when smoke fumed from their ears. Tears began to rapidly stream from your eyes, making your vision blurry.

"Lil bitch," your dad slurred as he raised his hand and forceful struck you across the face. You tumbled to the floor while your dad began to kick you in the stomach. You just curled in a ball, shielding your face, praying he'd get tired and stop. "HASN'T ANYONE EVER TOLD YOU NOT TO SPEAK BACK TO YOUR-"

All of a sudden, you heard a grunt and what sounded like a glass smashing. You looked up and saw your father knocked out on the ground, blood gushing from his head. All around him was millions bits of shattered glass from a flower pot and damp dirt. Behind him, stood David staring down at him with no expression.

"David?" you gasped in fear.

He looked at you and instantly rushed to sit down at your side. "You okay?" he asked in a hushed voice.

You nodded, still in shock. "You saved me."

He smiled and gently moved back your hair while lightly kissing your head, "I told you, I will always protect you whether you want me to or not."

Your mind felt fogged as so many questions continued to rush through your head. How'd David know you'd be in trouble tonight? How'd he'd get into the house? Would your father be okay? "B-But, David, I-"

"Shhhh you could worry about that later, baby. We got all the time in the world." He pulled you closer into his chest and kissed your head once again while eventually you fell asleep in his strong arms.
