As soon as Dana was out of sight she grabbed her phone and dialed her best friend's number with shaky hands. Charlotte 'Charlie' Baker was an Avengers fan, and she would probably love the news. But she would also understand how Dana felt.

"Hello?" She answered the call.

"Hey, Charlie. I've got news and I can't decide if they are really bad or acceptable."

Her friend hesitated. "You're preggo? Congrats. I'm gonna be an auntie!"

Dana laughed a dry laugh. "No, dumbass." She sighed. "I'm adopted."

"Okay and what's the problem with that? You're parents are still your parents." Charlie asked.

"They only told me because my biological father showed up at our door. Also I feel like the 16th birthday is the deadline. And he's FUCKING FAMOUS." Dana rambled, getting louder with each word.

"Famous? Who is it, Dannie? Please tell me it's like RDJ or someone of Marvel." Dana stayed silent as her friend hit right the bull's-eye. "SHUT UP! YOUR DAD IS RDJ?" Charlotte yelled.

"How the fuck did you fucking hit the fucking right one in one fucking second?" Dana asked, letting all her problems turn into cuss words. "I don't know. So what's the problem? How about talking to him?"

"And finding out why he and my birth mother put me up for adoption? Yeah, no thanks" She denied.

"Why are you even living in Germany? Was your mother German? Did he even know you existed? What about these question? You don't want an answer to those questions?" Charlie asked.

"God, why are you so wise?" 'Dannie' whined. "No need to call me a god. Charlie is perfectly fine." Her best friend answered sassy as fuck.

"Wow... I'm taking that back." Dana sighed. "Okay, I have to talk to my new found father now, I guess."

"Bye, call me if you need someone to talk. Love you." Charlie said her goodbyes.

"Bye, Charlie. Love you too and thank you." She ended the call and walked back to her family's house only to see her father, birth father? It's a chaos. Anyways, RDJ sat on the door steps, staring in to the sky.

"Hey." She said quietly.

He turned his head and looked at her surprised. "Hi. Are you okay?"

"Well, I kinda just found out that I am adopted plus my biological father is Robert freaking Downey Jr." The girl said bluntly as she sat down beside him.

"I didn't know my middle name was freaking. I always thought it was John." He joked.

"Wow...Not even my dad makes jokes that are that bad." Dana said laughing. She quickly stopped when she realized that she now has 2 fathers. She felt panic rise in the back of her head and quickly thought of something to say.

"So, you're middle name is John." She asked to break the awkward silence.

"Yup, do you have one?" "Ophelia."

He grinned.

"Why are you grinning?" Dana asked irritated by his reaction.

"Because I always wanted to name my daughter Ophelia. My wife over voted me to name Avri... Avri." He told his daughter. "Guess your birth mom remembered."

"Speaking of her. Who is my birth mother and where is she?" she asked curious.

"Her name was Katherine Adler. She was from Germany. That's the reason you grew up here." He said.

"Was?" Dana asked, noticing him using the past tense.

"Well... The thing between us was only a short thingy. I was separated from my first wife and I was in a really bad place in life. We lost contact. I didn't even know that she was pregnant. The only reason for me knowing of you is that she left me a letter... in her will where she explained everything to me...She died last week from cancer." He told her hesitating.

"Okay...uhm, well, I didn't know her. So I think I can't really miss her but if she wouldn't have died you wouldn't be here...That doesn't make sense. Shit." She rambled. "Is it bad that I think it is good that she died? Because now I know the truth?" The girl asked completely confused by the ways her brain went.

Robert chuckled. "Hey, calm down." He put his hands on her shoulders and made eye contact as he felt the girl panic. "It's okay. You didn't wish for her to die. You just think her death has not only bad consequences and I think that's okay." He comforted her.

The door of the house opened and Oscar came out, breaking the moment. "Hey, Dana. Dinner is rea-... Why is Iron Man in front of our house?" He asked as soon as he recognized Robert. They hadn't even noticed that the sun began to set.

"I think if I was talking to a man in a 6'5 tall metal suit, I'd know." She joked, covering up her anxiety. "Robert, wanna join us for dinner?"

"Sure, if it's okay with your parents." He answered hesitantly.

"I'm sure it's okay with them." Dana stated, still pissed that they didn't tell her earlier that she was adopted.

After dinner Robert thanked Anna for the dinner and then turned to face Dana."Can we meet tomorrow? I want to get to know you."

She nodded. "Sure. Can I have your number? ...Jeez, that kinda sounded weird."

Robert laughed. "It's okay." She gave him her phone and he typed in his number.

They stood up and Dana accompanied him to the door.

"How do you actually know for sure that I'm you daughter?" She asked the question that has been spinning in her head since he told her about Katherine. "I mean-"

"I know." He interrupted her. "First: your mom was blonde and had blue eyes; you have brown eyes and hair, like me. Second: we didn't use protection, which was very stupid. Third: We were friend with benefits, I know you don't wanna hear that," He smiled sympathetically. ", and we had a deal that if we found someone else we would tell the other one. Our fling was very much based on communication."

"You're right. Too much information." She cringed as he chuckled. "Well...see you tomorrow, I guess."

"See you tomorrow."

When he was gone Dana leaned against the wall, slid down slowly and buried her head in her hands.

Fuck.
