"Rise and shine!"
Dana groaned as she was woken up by her father opening her blinds to let the light in.
"Come on. It's already 11." Robert told her while pressing a kiss on her forehead. "Also, the kids are tormenting us about waking you up since 9."
Dana giggled. "They like me better than you."
"I know." Her father scoffed. "Don't pour salt on the wound! Up, up." He called as he left her room.
Dana turned on her back, groaning before sitting up and yawning violently. She looked around her room, rubbing her eyes before she stood up and went downstairs. The girl got immediately attacked by her sibling, each one hugging one of her legs. "Ugh." She groaned as she tried to walk further on. Dana giggled triumphantly as she arrived at the coffee machine. "Daaaad?" She called out. "Heeeelp."
As soon as Robert came up to her with wide arms and a teary smile, she finally realized what she had called him and panicked. "Oh shit, fuck, sorry. Jesus, I should just stop talking." She cursed, covering her shocked expression with her hand.
"Hey, you're okay. It's fine." Robert took his daughter in his arms.
Dana looked up trying to get some tears that tried to escape until she broke out in a wet smile. "You're my dad." She laughed.
"Yes." Her father kissed her temple, still hugging her before their moment got broken by Exton.
"Fuck."
"Oh god, Exton, no." Dana scolded him. "Oh Jesus, sorry."
"Did your son just say 'fuck'?" Susan asked as she came into the kitchen.
Robert froze shortly before answering. "OUR son said no such thing."
Exton grinned again. "Fuck."
"Oh my god." Dana groaned, turning to Susan. "I'm sorry?" She gave a sorry smile.
"Oh," Susan laughed,"it was definitely not your fault. Robert swears like a sailor. Don't apologize." She looked at her husband. "And you're gonna teach him not to say it anymore."
"Yes, ma'am." Robert saluted jokingly.

"Dana?" Robert found the girl reading on a sun lounger. The girl looked up as he came out to the garden. "We're gonna go grocery shopping. Are you gonna join us?"
"Yup." She jumped up after carefully putting her book mark into the novel she was reading.
She wore a cropped top and sweat shorts since she wanted to wear something comfortable today. Also the shorts covered the scars on her thigh which were much more notable than the ones on her arms. She quickly followed Rob into the house and ran to her room to grab socks and her sneakers. Then she got to the entrance area where Susan and Robert both where currently tying the kids' shoes. Dana chose to quickly sit down on the floor to put on her socks and slip in her sneakers.
When they got to the grocery store, Robert took a shopping cart for the things they needed to buy and Dana took one and sat Exton and Avri in there as they had been incredible clingy the whole day and she didn't want to carry both.
They were going to make pizza that evening, so they fetched everything they needed but one thing.
"Don't even think about it." Dana exclaimed when Robert went to get pizza dough. "My nonna is turning in her grave right about now. We just need flour, water, yeast and little bit of salt. I'mma make the dough."
"You sure? Remember when we met?" Robert looked at her grinning.
Dana sighed. "That was therapeutic baking."
Susan laughed, knowing the story of Dana baking the day she met Rob. "Alright, come on. We have flour, yeast and water at home. We're done here."
