I get there at the arranged time and I see Kylie, Kayden, and Violet already waiting for me. Alice gets there right after I do and we all walk in together. We decide to just look around and talk first but then we go to our favorite clothing store and start looking through the clothes in hopes that something will catch our eyes. I've never been a huge fan of clothes shopping, I usually just get what people tell me to. After trying on multiple outfits picked out by my friends I chose my two favorites, we finished up paying and decided we were all kind of hungry. So we walked to the food court to get something to eat before eventually having to go home. Even though I'm not usually a fan of shopping it was fun hanging out with everyone outside of school and school-related drama. I get home and quickly get ready for dinner like I always do. It has been a pretty eventful couple of weeks and with the stress about the party tomorrow I ended up just falling asleep. When I woke up it was fully dark, I realized I fell asleep for a few hours so I decided to change into pajamas and go back to sleep. I couldn't go back to sleep so I decided to just sit up and think for a bit. I always wondered why I felt so different from everyone else and I guess this was my answer. "I don't know something just doesn't feel right" I whisper to myself, being sure to not wake anyone. I have been absent-mindedly drawing on a paper while I was thinking and I look down and it is a sketch of my spirit animal the giant dragon that appeared behind me that day. I decided to look into it a bit more because I had time and something just didn't feel right to me. So I start researching more about queens but everything says the same things, they are rare, they have mythical animals as pets, but also they find themselves later because they don't have one singular power they can take on any power they want which is cool so I guess I should start practicing that. I decide it is in my best interest to go back to sleep so I am not overly tired tomorrow. I go to sleep hoping that this feeling will pass so I can just enjoy my life as a queen because it is pretty cool.

Violet's POV It's the Saturday of the party I of course offer to help out so that Olivia wouldn't have to stress about it as much. So me and my mom get to the party location an hour before it starts to help set up and make sure everything goes smoothly while Olivia and her mom have a nice morning together. Having a party to celebrate your element is pretty standard nowadays some people choose not to. Though most people have them because it is a huge deal and a really big milestone in a person's life. So I have to make sure this goes perfectly because Olivia has been waiting for this for a long time now. It's only going to be 20 - 25 people because Olivia wanted to limit it to family and friend's families. So I start setting everything up when I see a way to familiar face approach and I start to feel sick, "What do you want Ivy," I say, narrowing my eyes at her. She looks at me with an annoyed look and says "Just because you are best friends to the queen doesn't mean you can act like this" "Look I don't know why you are here, Olivia hates you and so does everyone else in our group you will never be a friend of the queen and you are lucky she isn't as petty as I am because she can demote you" I say with an evil smile on my face. That is just a theory since there hasn't been a registered queen in hundreds of years and no one can get the stories one hundred percent accurate. She walks away with an angry look, I know she is not pleased that Olivia is a queen. But I don't have time to think about that, I have to continue getting ready for the party. Finally, ten minutes before the guests are due to show up we finish everything and my mom tells me to go get changed for the party while she makes sure everything stays in place and nothing gets messed up. Finally, guests start arriving and when everyone is here Olivia walks in accompanied by her mom and she looks absolutely beautiful. Her mom convinced her to wear a dress and wedges. I am shocked for a second because I haven't seen her dressed like this in years. Her light brown hair is styled in beautiful waves that end just above her hips, and she is wearing a beautiful off-the-shoulder gown that is mostly gold but fades into a darker reddish-brown color which complements her light skin tone and emerald eyes perfectly. She paired it with a beautiful but simple hairpiece that keeps her hair out of her face and a pair of wedges that give her a little bit of extra height but are still practical. So to put it simply she looks like an absolute goddess. When she walks into the party everyone stops and a spotlight shines on her, the crowd parts allowing her to walk to her seat and as she does that I run up to her and hug her "You don't just look like a queen you look like a goddess," I say nearly on the verge of tears. "Aww thanks, you look beautiful as well, I can't believe this is finally happening," She says, "I was so uncomfortable putting all this on this is so far from the way I usually dress," "I know but you look so good," I say encouragingly, and it's true she looks beautiful. "I know, my mom said the same thing and I trust you two I guess I should just enjoy the party," She says, "I mean it's nice to see my friends and family especially people I haven't seen in a while," "Yeah exactly like go say hi to people and catch up I will make sure things run smoothly," I say. "Oh no, you don't," Olivia's mother says coming from out of nowhere, "You are going to enjoy this party too, I will handle everything from here, Thank you so much for helping to set up it looks beautiful but now you and Olivia should go have fun," "Are you sure?" I ask. "Yes I'm sure you deserve to have a fun night with Olivia too, I mean seriously you were there for her when I couldn't be," Oliva's mom says. "Yeah, she's right Violet, without you, I wouldn't be the person I am right now so this party is also for you," Olivia says as she hugs me I can't help but tear up a bit. I have never felt so loved and accepted in all of my life. My mom has always been there for me but Olivia is the only person in this world who can truly understand me. I hug her back tightly fighting back my tears and manage to say "Aww, I don't think I would have been the person I am right now if it wasn't for you either, you have taught me so many things since we have been friends and I love you for that," without crying luckily. After that really cute moment, we get a few pictures together, and then Olivia takes a few with her mom and sister. Then Olivia practically drags me around the party introducing me to family members and family friends and then I convince her to dance with me. It was honestly one of the best nights ever and not because of the great music, pretty decorations, and fun atmosphere but because my best friend was having the time of her life after finally figuring out who she was meant to be.

Olivia's POV... I wake up and at first everything feels calm for a second and then I realize today is the day of the party and I jump out of bed. I can't wait. So I throw on just a pair of jeans and a simple top because we have a few things my mom wanted to do before the party. The party doesn't start until 2:00 pm and it's going to go on until 10:00 pm. This is pretty normal for these types of parties, but I was still concerned that it was a bit late. I walk down the stairs, after throwing on a natural makeup look so I look more presentable, and I am immediately greeted by my mom, violet, and her mom. My sister is there too but she is kinda just standing off to the side. She has acted weirdly ever since I figured out my elemental powers. I'm not sure exactly why, but the logical side of my brain says she is jealous, because not only am I mom's favorite, and I have friends who love me for who I am not my status, and now I also out-rank her power-wise. But there is a small part of me that wishes she felt guilty for treating me awfully all these years and wants her to realize that she should have been there for me instead of acting like she was superior to me and befriending my bullies. I quickly snap out of my thoughts and think that today is my day and I'm going to enjoy it even if it kills me. I have people who love me and have been here for me since day one and those are the people I am going to worry about. "Hey," Violet says quietly "I'm glad you're awake" "What? It's only 9:00 am," I say laughing a bit. "Yeah but your mom has been rushing around since 6:00 am preparing everything for today," She says amused. We both laugh and then I walk over to my mom who is still freaking out a bit. "Mom, Calm down." I say calmly, "You have done an amazing job preparing everything, let's enjoy ourselves and hang out with the people who have been there for us since the beginning" "I know," She says slightly defeated "I just want to make sure everything goes perfectly, It's your big day and you deserve to have the best party possible," "Mom, You have already done that the way you can make it perfect right now is to be there for me and help me have a stress free morning," I say calmly, pausing for a second before saying, "Which means you need to be less stressed too" "You're right," She says smiling. She gives me a big hug and then tells me that we are going to my favorite breakfast place and that she invited all of my friends from school to come along as well. I do a small little dance and quickly everything I need to leave the house. My mom drives Me, Violet, Violet's mom, and Crystal to the place and when I get there I see that Alice, Kylie, and Kayden are already there. They each greet me by hugging me and asking me if I'm excited for later. We all walk into the place and it turns out my mom rented out two tables for us. The conversation consists of party talk and just other light topics along with everyone telling me how proud they are of me. I just laugh along because I love them all dearly and I know they are excited but I find it funny that they congratulate me every five seconds. "So Olivia, what does your outfit for tonight look like?" Alice asks, I give a small laugh and respond "I told you I want it to be a complete surprise," "Oh, ok" she says with a little pout but she can't keep a straight face for long and ends up laughing. I know everyone is quite curious because usually your outfit is kind of on theme with your element but there isn't any real theme for a queen it's pretty all-encompassing so I can pretty much do whatever I want. The only thing is it has to be fancy, but I don't like fancy clothes so everyone is really excited to see what I wear. My mom is the only one who has seen my actual dress because when I went out with friends we picked out a few that could be nice but when I came back in with my mom to finalize my choice we found a different one that we thought was perfect. Breakfast goes by quickly and soon it's already 11:30 and my friends go back home to prepare and Violet and her mom head to the Venue to oversee the decorating process and all the other last-minute details are all coming together. My mom takes me and Crystal home, and Crystal goes up to her room until we have to leave again and my mom proceeds to help me get ready. First I put my dress on and then my mom helps me with my makeup because I wanted to do a much fancier look than normal. It ends up being super colorful which I love. We then style my long brown hair and decide to go for a simple but pretty wavy look that stops just above my hips. I know it's quite simple especially for a queen but I like it.
