AN: I'm back, a bit earlier than last time, lmfao, sorry about that. I'll try and keep an...as much as possible, regular updating schedule. But since I already have an idea for the next chapter, I'll probably update twice this week, or, who knows, maybe even three times! He he he.
Keep looking forward to it.
ALSO!!! HO is almost at 100k!!!! What the hell??!! This is a major surprise, truly, and I didn't really expect this. Thank you all!!!!

Kakashi was in a state of panic.

The moment he stepped foot into the hospital, the moment he said who Aizen was, multiple nurses and doctors flooded them, ripping the boy from his still shaking arms and taking him away. He received no explanation, no words of worry, nothing. They disappeared behind closed doors without even acknowledging he was there.

It was to be expected, after all, Aizen was the Hokage's one and only brother.

They'd do anything to save him.

So he sat there, right outside the door, on the cold, cold tiles, and waited, for he knew not what else to do.
.
.
.
"Kakashi!"

Not even five minutes later, Minato, with Kushina slowly trailing after him, arrived.

"What happened?"

He didn't look at them.

"Kakashi? Are you all right?" Kushina, ever so kind, approached him, lightly bending down so she'd look at him.

He wasn't all right. He was definitely not all right. "Aizen...I- The Sha...Sharingan-!" He couldn't even speak properly, tongue tripping over simple words as if he were a child.

"Kushina, could you take him home?" Minato walked past him, heading straight towards the door Aizen went through.

Take him home?! "What?! No!" It was only then that he looked at them, the both of them, and when he locked eyes with Minato, he saw the way he was looking at him. Stern blue eyes, demanding despite the obvious redness and tiredness and rawness that proved he was in a vulnerable state just before this one.

Just before this one, because now there was no rawness or vulnerability in sight.

"You're unstable, both of you are, which is why Aizen is in that room. You need time apart. If you want to be with him, then it will have to be when you both calm down."

He went straight to the point.

"Kushina...?"

Pale hands took him by the wrists and he sat up, head bowed down.

"You should've expected this."

That was the last thing he heard as the door opened and slid shut.

"C'mon, let's get you home, yeah?"

The warm smile Kushina aimed at him did nothing to ward off the coldness.

_

He woke up to the sensation of his insides twisting and vertigo crushing his head into mush.

"He's awake!"

Someone yelled, a woman, whose voice he couldn't recognise.

The first thing that greeted him was the ever-so-white and familiar ceiling of a hospital room. The second thing was the overly loud sound of the door sliding shut. The third was the Hokage's looming gaze as he looked at him from above.

And the fourth?

The rawness of his eyes.

"I told you to stay away," his voice was quiet, calm, "You didn't listen and this is how it turned out."
