This world is inhabited by creatures that aren't actually human, but are able to pass as human if they want. They are elementals who care for the earth, air, and water. This story is about how an earth elemental, who had observed humans for many years, found one he felt uncontrollably drawn towards. Jimin lived in a large, wooden tract of a botanical garden with his friends and co-workers.
Because they were earth elementals, their job was to take care of the earth. It took many elementals to ensure that the earth was maintained each season. Since it was the beginning of spring, Jimin and his friends were heading into the busy season. The flowers in this section of the garden were budding and soon these elementals would be busy coloring the flowers.

Jungkook visited the garden every week. Sometimes multiple times. He moved to this city in the fall and didn't have many friends. He loved this garden because it was huge and there was a large forested section where he could disappear, or so it seemed. He would stay in the forest for hours, taking photos and doing sketches. He kept coming back, even though sometimes it felt like someone was watching him. He started thinking that he had a guardian spirit who lived in the forest. He also thought it was just in his head due to not having a social life.
