Colored With a Kiss (Jikook)

Part 11

Jimin's POV:

When I got back to the burrow that evening, Hobi was waiting for me.

Jimin: What are you doing here? Where's Tae?

Hoseok: They're still on their date.

Jimin: So were you waiting for me?

Hoseok: Yes. I wanted to know how it went with Jungkook, and if he knows the human that was watching you two.

Jimin: Dang it. I knew I forgot to tell him something.

Hoseok: What?! You didn't tell him?

Jimin: Can we go to your place? I'll tell you there.

He wrapped his arms around me and in a blink we were up in his treehouse. I just liked the view from up there. Sometimes I wished I lived in a treehouse rather than a burrow.

Hoseok: Alright, spill it.

Jimin: I'm surprised you don't know already.

Hoseok: I wanted to give you two privacy. I didn't even tap into the fungi to find out.

Jimin: Well, I told him about us, elementals.

Hoseok: Did he believe you?

Jimin: Not at first. I had to show him my actual size for him to believe me.

Hoseok: That must have shocked him.

Jimin: A little bit at first, but then he adjusted to the idea of this whole other world right in front of him.

Hoseok: Did you show him anything else?

Jimin: I told him how we paint and he said, "You must be a good kisser."

Hoseok: He's not wrong.

Jimin: (Smacking his arm) Hobi! I showed him how we paint. I did not kiss him.

Hoseok: You will.

Jimin: You don't know that.

Hoseok: I do.

Jimin: Do not.

Hoseok: (Shrugging) Am I wrong?

Jimin: Probably not. I did tell him that I liked him.

Hoseok: Oooh.

Jimin: And he said he likes me too.

Hoseok: Jimin, you have a human boyfriend.

Jimin: Not yet. We're still getting to know each other.

Hoseok: Just don't forget to ask him about the other guy.

Jimin: I'll do it tomorrow.

(The next day)

I was waiting in the garden for Jungkook. Tae took another day off. He said that he told Yoongi that he loved him. Yoongi said it back and they wanted to spend more alone time to celebrate. I told them I'd be out of the burrow until the evening. I can't wait to be in that stage of a relationship. Or any stage with Kookie.

I colored some flowers red and orange to keep occupied while waiting for him. When I heard some dried leaves rustling, I went to large size and met him at our bench. But it wasn't him.

???: There you are, slut!

Jimin: Slut?! I am not.

???: Yes you are.  I know you've been meeting my boyfriend here, trying to win him over. But you can't have him. He's mine!

Jimin: Boyfriend? Kookie said he didn't have one.

???: Well he clearly does, because here I am.

Jimin: I don't believe you.

???: And you know what else? I know that you're not even human.

Jimin thought to himself, "Uh oh, he must have seen me go small sized."

???: You're a leprechaun.

Jimin: Am not. I don't even know what that is.

???: Stop lying!

He was raising his voice and getting very agitated.

???: I'm going to take you away from here. Then you won't mess with my boyfriend anymore. And I'll make you show me where you keep your gold.

Clearly, this guy was crazy. I should've just run at this point, but I kept talking.

Jimin: I don't have any gold.

???: Liar! You're clearly a leprechaun. You get small and you're always wearing green.

Jimin: I like green. It's my favorite color.

???: Likely story.

Jimin: You're that stalker. Kookie mentioned he had one awhile back. He thought you were finally over it.

???: I am not! I'm his boyfriend. Enough of your talking. You are coming with me.

He grabbed my wrist tightly and tried pulling me to him. He was starting to scare me and was hurting my wrists, so I changed size to run away. I had no idea he'd be ready for that. The next thing I know, he scooped me up in a small container.

I was trapped.
