Jungkook's POV:

I needed to get away and escape my own brain for awhile.  The garden and painting were my respite.  Last night, my stalker showed up outside my apartment. I called the cops, but he disappeared by the they showed up. Now I'm thinking I need to move again. On top of that, I felt like my co-workers were gossiping about me.  It always got quiet when I went in the break room. I need to stop thinking.

I put on some calming music, trying to get all of the bad thoughts out of my head.  Some days humanity can really make you question the purpose of life.  But then I show up to the garden, smell the fresh air and the sweet scent of flowers, and I feel the stress melt away. Thinking to myself, "Life is good, I just have to get out here more often."

(Flashback 3 months earlier)

It was a Friday afternoon when some co-workers (I wouldn't really call them friends, because we weren't that close) invited me out to happy hour.  They were pounding back shots while I sipped my martini.  They were getting pretty rowdy and dragged me onto the dance floor with them.  I love dancing, and am pretty good at it.  Next thing I know, this cute guy starts dancing with me.

One of the women from work looked upset that I was dancing with this guy.  I'm not sure why she was irritated, but I was having fun dancing and continued to do so.  A couple other co-workers tried to pull me back to them, and I was feeling conflicted.  To be honest, it had been awhile since I dated anyone and this guy was cute. But since I see my coworkers 5 days a week, I went back to the table with them.

We sat around drinking more, well mostly they drank.  I noticed some of them giving me strange looks.  I had no idea what was going on, but didn't need any work drama.  I was starting to question my decision to go out with them.  The guy from the dance floor walked by and quickly slipped me a card.

That evening when I got home I looked at it and saw his contact info. So I sent him a text.  That was the second mistake of the evening.

Within the next week, that guy, Yeonjun, became obsessed with me.  He started showing up everywhere; at my usual coffee shop, at the lunch cart in the office building, and in front of my apartment complex.  I was really freaked out.  He texted me about 50 times per day, even after I asked him to stop.  I finally blocked him.

After a few more weeks, I didn't see him around anymore.  So I thought that saga was over.  I was so wrong.

Jimin's POV:

Tae and I got a late start the day after the dinner party.  Both of us were hungover after drinking too much fruit wine the night before. Thankfully, we called Jin and he wasn't feeling great either.  So we agreed to start painting flowers after lunch. Since it was a weekday, I wasn't sure I'd see the cute human.  But I was keeping an eye out.

Taehyung: Chim, how do you like this flower?

He'd been working on it for awhile, and I have to admit it was beautiful.  Rather than just one solid color, he built in multiple colors that blended seamlessly with each other.

Jimin: That's beautiful, Tae.  How did you do it?

He was showing me how, with multiple vials of lipstick and a lot of patience.

Taehyung: Here, borrow these colors and you try it.

It took me some time to get it right and it still wasn't quite as good as his flower.

Taehyung: Not bad.

I've got to say, I love my job.  Adding color to nature is so much fun.  We get to use our imagination and can keep it simple or make it very unique.  If we got too carried away with the creativity, Jin would yell at us.  But even he admired our artistic flare sometimes.

We were just about winding down for the day and I kept looking for my human, but he didn't seem to be here.  Then I heard someone humming and saw him right in front of us.

Jungkook: Oooh, these flowers are very interesting.  I'm going to paint you, yes I am little flowers.

Taehyung: (Turning to Jimin) What is he doing? He's talking to the flowers.

Jimin: You know they like it when we talk to them.

Taehyung: We know that, but he should't.  I think for humans, they call that kind of behavior "crazy."

Jimin: He's admiring the hard work we just did.  Stop being so critical.

He was setting down his supplies and sat down in a nearby bench.  First he came over to take a photo.  Tae was grabbing my arm trying to get me to leave with him.

Jimin: Stop, I'm just going to watch him for a bit.

Taehyung: Did you learn nothing last night?

Jimin:  I learned that it was possible for humans and elementals to fall in love.

Taehyung: (Shaking his head) You are going to get yourself in serious trouble.

Jimin: Come on, he looks harmless.

Taehyung: You don't know.  He could be a vicious jerk like Joon's ex.  Or he could actually be crazy.  Or maybe he's just trying to lure you in so he can kidnap you.

Jimin: Oh, please.  He has no idea we're here.

Taehyung: And it should stay that way. Come on, let's go home.

Jimin: It's harmless.  I'm just going to stay for a little while.

Taehyung: If you get kidnapped, I am not going to rescue you!

Jimin: I'll be fine. Love you, Tae.

Taehyung: I hate you right now.

Jimin: Don't say that.

But he turned around and stormed away.

I climbed up the tree and watched him work.  My eyesight is just ok, and I felt the need to get closer.  I was too big to sit on his shoulder without him noticing.  So I decided to pretend I was another human.  I went behind a stand of trees and changed to big-sized.  I then walked out behind him.  He didn't notice me at first and kind of shrieked when I sat down next to him.
