Horror Movie Fluff (Hope Mikaelson)

Y/N and Hope watch a horror movie. Hope gets scared.

Y/N and Hope are cuddled up in the couch in Y/N's apartment, watching The Ring. Hope secretly hates horror movies, but Y/N really wanted to watch one, so Hope of course, being the loving girlfriend that she is, agreed. Suddenly, a creepy girl with black hair and a filthy old nightie comes crawling towards the screen. 

Hope flinches out of fear. She doesn't want to ruin the film for Y/N however, so she just holds Y/N tightly and hopes that her girlfriend doesn't notice that she is shaking. Hope being the attentive girlfriend that she is notices right away though. She turns the TV off and sets the remote aside, looking over at the auburn haired tribrid.

"Why did you turn it off?" Hope asks, her voice shaking despite her best efforts for keep it steady.

 "Because it was scarring you, my love," Y/N replies. 

"You can turn it back on. It's ok," Hope says. 

"No, honey, it isn't ok. It scares you and I don't like seeing you scared. Besides, I'd rather cuddle with you in bed anyways," Y/N assures Hope.

"Really?" Hope whispers. 

"Yes, really. Cuddles with you beat horror movies any day. Now, come. Let's go to bed and snuggle," Y/N says, getting up from the sofa. 

Hope smiles widely and the pair head upstairs. They lay down in Y/N's queen sized bed and the tribrid snuggles into her girlfriend, resting her head on her chest. The sound of Y/N's heartbeat calms her. Y/N wraps her arms around her auburn haired girlfriend and places a loving kiss on her forehead. 

"Is this better, Hopey?" Y/N asks her love. 

"So much better," Hope sighs contentedly, throwing an arm around Y/N's waist. 

"Go to sleep, love," Y/N urges.

"Okay. I love you. Always and forever," Hope yawns.

"I love you too. Always and forever," Y/N agrees, kissing Hope's head.

As the pair fall asleep, Hope thanks her lucky stars that she has someone as amazing as Y/N in her life. Y/N is just as thankful for Hope, and falls asleep with a smile on her face, the auburn haired tribrid safe and sound in her arms.
