Chapter 4: Night time

Caroline's P.O.V
We are just about to pull up at Normans and Mingus's house but right before I text my mom "hey mom I'm sleeping over the Reedus's house tonight. I knew you couldn't pick me up, it wasn't safe. Norman will bring me to filming tomorrow, could you just come to drive me home? And bring me a change of clothes also please!"
Once I send the text we get to the house. It's huge!

"Whoah, your house is huge!" I still can't believe it!

"I've heard that before" Norman says with a smirk. Mingus and I just both laugh and walk into the house.

"Um Mingus, what am I supposed to wear to bed?" I ask laughing.

"I'll get something" He says walking out of the room. He comes back in with sweatpants and a t-shirt.

"There mine so they might be a little big, but they'll work." He said handing me the clothes.

"Thankss, would it be okay if I take a shower?" I ask

"Yeah that's totally fine, down the hall to you left, then the 2nd door." He tells me.

"Okay!" I say walking out I hear him yell 'towels in the closet'.

I get in the bath room and start my shower.

Mingus's P.O.V
I watched her walk to the bathroom. She's so gorgeous. I want her to be mine. But I just met her today... So that might have to wait a little.
I walk out to the kitchen where my dad is.
"Where's Caroline?" He askes.

"In the shower" I say.

"So when you gonna grow a pair and ask her out?" He asks. My eyes widen and I could feel my face turn red.

"Uh what?" Trying to sound like I don't know what he's saying.

"Ming you like her, I could tell the first time you saw her. Like the way you look at her." He tells me

"Okay okay I do. But shhh don't tell anyone because I don't know if she likes me back." I tell him. I then hear the shower turn off. I finish my pizza and then start walking toward to my room. I see her walking down the hall,

"Hey I love your outfit" I say with a smirk.

"Eh it's okay I guess.. I'm kidding, I love it too" she says laughing with a smirk.
She then walks into the guest bedroom.

Caroline's P.O.V
I walk into the room happy. I love talking to him. I think I know now. I like Mingus. I check my phone and I see I have a text from Chandler. It says "Hey sorry for overreacting tonight, I shouldn't have done that.." I text back and it turns into a conversation.
(C-Caroline CR- Chandler)
C- hi, it's okay I guess
CR- Okay, so what's up, where are you?
C- talking to you and at Mingus's, you?
CR- Wait... Mingus's.?
C-yeah
CR- oh. Have fun.bye
C- why are you mad??
CR- I'm not!!
I just stopped replaying after that because I didn't know if it would turn into a big fight.

I go on to twitter and tweet... 'CarolineWakefield_: Can't wait to film tomorrow @AMC!'
After like 5 minutes I got a BUNCH of follows and retweets because AMC retweeted my tweet. I also posted a picture of me, Mingus and Chandler on Instagram. It was from today at the ice cream place and I captioned it '🍦🍦🍦' I got a lot of likes and follows on Instagram too.

I get into the bed and look at the clock and see its 10:00. Before I go to bee I go to my camera roll and then to my videos. I have this video of me and my dad right before he passed away. I watch it all the time. Back to when times were good and happy. I started to watch it and I let a tear fall when I heard him say "I love you so much Caroline" and I ran into his arms. That part always gets me. I heard a knock on my door.
"Come in" I say. It's Mingus. I wipe my tears away.

"Caroline... Are you okay?" He asks with concern in his voice.

"Yeah.. Just thinking if my dad" he walks over to me and sits next to me and give me a hug and says "it's okay". He says goodnight and is about to leave until I say

"Mingus... Can you stay?" I ask quietly. He smiles and says

"I'd love too" i move over to make room for him. He comes over and wraps his arms around me, pulls up the covers, and turns the light off.
"Goodnight Mingus" I say

"Goodnight to you too" he says.

And I fall asleep in his arms.
