Him (Mingus Reedus & Chandler Riggs)

Chapter 9: Just perfect.

Caroline's P.O.V
I finish flat ironing my hair, and I put it half up half down. I put a white little bow to match my blue and white dress(picture above). I apply deodorant and put on just a little mascara and light pink lip gloss. I look around for my favorite perfume but I can't seem to find it. "Mom! Do you know where my sweet pea perfume is!?" I yell asking my mother. "Check my room!" She yells back. I walk over to her room and there it is on her desk. I put it on my wrists, neck and then all over my body. I then walk back to my room. I got to my closet to look for shoes. I try on some heals, but it's too fancy. Maybe my vans? Nah too casual. Then I find my black toms! Perfect! Lastly I grab my locket and put it around my neck.

I go to the kitchen where mom is.

"Honey you look beautiful!" She says looking up to me. "Thank youuu, you think it's fancy enough?" I don't know how fancy this place is so I'm scared I'm not fancy enough. "It's fine!" Okay good.

I look at the clock and see it's 5:50 he'll be here in 10 minutes. Until then I will just go on my phone. 9 minutes later there is a knock on my door. I run to it and open it, and I open to see Mingus standing there. He's just starring at me. Is there something wrong? Oh no I'm probably not fancy enough.

"Caroline, you look -look beautiful" he tells me. I giggle and blush and tell him "thank you". Then my mother comes to the door. Okay I just want to leave.

"Hello Mrs. Wakefield." Mingus says putting his hand out to shake her hand.

"Hello, Mingus" she says shaking his hand. "Well you two better be going and have fun!" We say goodbye then walk out.

Of course when we get outside there is paparazzi. They swarm around us and start asking questions. "Caroline are you two dating." "I thought you and Chandler were dating." "What about Chandler?" I just ignored them and kept walking to the car Mingus has driving us to the restaurant. He opened the door for me say "For my lady" this makes me giggle. "Your such a dork." He gives me a fake sad face. "A cute dork" I tell him and he smiles at me. After about a 20 minute car ride and random conversations with Mingus we pull up to the restaurant... With more paparazzi. We ignore them again and walk to the restaurant. We walk in and the lady asks for our names. "Reedus, for two." He tells the waitress. "Oh my gosh, your on The Walking Dead! And your Norman Reedus's kid!"
"Yeahh" we both say. "Well your table is over here" she leads us into a room when we get in there I see someone...

Someone who thought I would never see again.
