Part 8: Oh

Caroline's P.O.V
I woke up at 8:50and jumped into the shower. I got out about 20 minutes later. I took a longer one because I was thinking a lot. I walked back to my room and and slid on some jean shorts, and a white lace crop top with a purple bandue under it. I dryed my hair and put some beach curls spray type of thing in my hair. It's now about 9:50. I walk out to the kitchen to find my mom making pancakes.

"Hey mom, are you almost ready to go?" I said grabbing some water.

"Yeah, just once Im done making these I need to get dressed." Putting two pancakes on a plate for me. "Eat up" she says walking to her room.

I eat my pancakes and scroll through my social media. I look at the time and and see its 10:00.

"Mom!! Come one we gotta go!!!"

"I know i know, I'm coming."

She grabs her keys and we walk out of the building to our car. We get in and about 15 minutes later we arrive at the studio. Mom tells me she going to go to a Startbucks or a Dunkin Donuts. I say "okay" and walk to my trailer. When I get in there I'm surprises Mingus isn't there yet. I waited a couple more minutes till finally realizing he probably isn't coming and doesn't care. I just grab my costume and go to the little room I have and start to change. Once I'm done putting on my boots I hear a knock on the door.

"Come in!" I yell, it's probably Chandler wanting to make sure I'm okay. It's kinda cute how much he cares, but I don't know who I like, because I still like Mingus just that other girl...But it's not Chandler at the door it's Mingus.

"Hey" He says with and awkward smile, but it still gives me butterfly's.

"Hi" Is all I say finishing up tying up my boots. He's just standing there awkwardly.

"Um... What did you want to talk about? I kinda gotta go soon." I tell him.

"Yeah, what you saw at the movies--" I cut him off. "I know you like that girl it's okay, I understand" I say trying to push past him. He grabs my wrist and pulls me towards him so now I'm standing in front of him.

"No, I don't like that girl. I just promised her a long time ago that I would go with her to the movies, and I lied to you because I didn't want you to think I liked her. And I don't like her at all. And did you run away because of me and that other girl" Oh crap, I can feel my face turn red.

"Um, uh, I don't know" I say looking down.

"Why did you care so much?" He says smirking at me. I don't know if I should tell him. Then I feel he wants me to tell him.

"Because I like you, okay!!" I threw my arms in the air. "It's so obvious how couldn--" I was cut off by his soft lips crashing on to mine. It wasn't a rough kiss though. It was a passionate kiss. I never wanted it to end but about 15 seconds later there is a knock on my door. I pull away, not wanting to, and look up at Mingus. He has a smile on my face and so do I. He removes his hands from my hips signaling for me to go to the door. I get there to see Chandler.

"Hey Caroline I was wondering if you wanted t--" He paused when he saw Mingus.

Chandlers P.O.V
"Hey Caroline I was wondering if you wanted t--" Then I saw Mingus? Mingus!?

"Oh hey dude." I say to him calmly.

"Hey" he said smiling. What the hell happened. Why is he happy and why does Caroline look fine with his presence.

"What you doing here?" I ask laughing a little but confused.

"Oh just talking to Caroline and explaining that the movies was a misunderstanding."

"Yeahh" Caroline says looking over to Mingus and smiling.

How the hell does he already have her back?! It hasn't even been 24 hours and she forgave him?! This is bull shit. Caroline's supposed to be mine, not his.
Ohhh I know what I can do.

"So Caroline...how far have you read into your script?" I asked smirking to her.

"Oh, um pretty far." She says nervously.

"Well I can't wait for our big scene next week." I tell her.

"What scene?" Mingus asks a little annoyed.

"Oh well Carl and Skyler(sorry I think I changed the name) are love interests in the show, and we have a pretty heated scene." Mingus's face turns bright red.

"Ohh, cool." Is all he says.

"Well I need to get to set...bye guys!" Caroline says quickly and leaves, leaving me and Mingus alone.

Mingus's P.O.V
"So it doesn't seem to bother you about me and Caroline." Chandler says with a smirk. Does he really think he's gonna get her?

"No it doesn't, because I know you two are acting and what me and Caroline have is real" I tell him, returning a smirk.

"Alright... We'll see about that" And with that he left.

Caroline liked me right? Yeah, yeah she must, she kissed me back so she has too. I can't let Chandler get her. I'm not going to take this as a competition. She's a person, who has feelings. She isn't an object. I'm going to ask her on a date tonight. I should probably go ask her quickly.

I walk to the set and see Caroline in the middle of the scene. Gosh she's so gorgeous even with 'walker blood' and 'sweat' on her. I just stare at her beautifulness until I see Carl aka Chandler come into the scene. He wraps his arms around her. That's all I see, because I didn't want to see anymore. I walk over to the food table and just stay there till the scene is over. After about 20 minutes the scene is finally over. I walk around to find Caroline but I end up running into dad.

"Hey dad can you make a reservation for two at that fancy Italian restaurant?" I ask him.

"Ah I see, finally grew a pair to ask Caroline on a date?" He would say something this.

"Yeah I guess, I'm looking for her right now to ask her."

"Oh well she's over there with Chandler." Of course Chandler.. I walk over to see them talking this will be interesting.

"Hey guys" I say mainly to Caroline.

"Heyy mingyy" Caroline is so cute when she calls me that.

"Can I talk to you for a minute?" I ask Caroline.

"Yeah sure!" She says as we step away from Chandler.

"Um.. Well.. Do you-uh.. Do you want to go out to dinner tonight with me for like uh date?" Why was that so damn hard to say?

"Yes I would love too." She blushes a little and it's the cutest thing I've seen.

"Great I'll pick you up at 6:00, and it's a fancy place I'm just saying" I tell her.

"Okay I'll see you then!"

This is going to be a great night.

Caroline's P.O.V
I'm really excited for tonight! Oh my god what am I going to wear. How am I going to do my hair? I have one more scene to film then I can go home and worry about all this.

"What was that about?" Chandler asks me.

"Oh um nothing" I say blushing and looking down. "I gotta go byee" I say trying to avoid anything awkward because I know he likes me, but I like Mingus.

After about another 2 hours of filming I grab my stuff and tell mom we have gotta go.

"So mom, Mingus asked me on a date..." I tell her, what if she thinks I'm too young?

"That's great honey! Me and Norman saw it happening sooner or later!" Wow that was a surprise.

"Okay well I gotta go get ready!!" I tell her hoping out of the car and running into the apartment.
