Chapter 57

Caterina's P.O.V

"You have a meeting at 9 o'clock with head of design department for the new batch of clothes. Then you have a meeting at 12 o'clock with Mr. Lambert. Then you have a meeting at 1:30 pm with Mr. Landon. And then you have another meeting at 3:00 pm with Nora and well that's it for today",  she said looking at her tab. Nora is one of our manager I remember.

Well I am pack with meetings but well not much I had even worse than this. Well but the empty slot of time that I had will be utilised in me signing alot of files I am telling you. So basically even though I don't have much meeting but still I am full with workloads.  I don't even know whether I will be able to complete it today or not. Ah its so frustrating.

I looked towards Ivan and he just nodded at me. He already know what I was about to ask and his nod means he had done it. So I  have a little of my  work subtracted. Every time I get some files to sign,  I ask Ivan to read it and approve it. So before coming on my desk it goes through Ivan.

Ivan or Ivanov is my most trusted person. Anyone and everyone can betray me but not him. I put my life on his hand without any worries. And I blindly trust him. Well he had proved himself to be so trustworthy like this.

He brought files that needs to be signed and put it on my desk and let me tell you even after removing some files it still more than fifty. Ah just how much work I have to go throgh today and its just a start. Even though I only need to put my signature on these without reading it. But still I have alot and other than these I had other things too.

I sighed looking at it and started working. Scarlet broght a cup of coffee for me and then went to her office to continue  her work. And Ivan sat on the chair infront of me working on god knows what.

I started signing the files while drinking coffee.  After 3 or 4 files were signed I look up at Ivan and told him to do something first.

"Ivan I want you to send bunch of black roses and a broken crown to Damon Kingston with the card "Game is on love", I said to him to which he stared blankly at me. I know that look, he thinks I am childish. Well I am so what. I just shrugged back and started signing the papers again.

He stood up and went outside. I bet he had gone to do what I had asked. I then suddenly remember something and texted him.
 
"Hey Ivan also take some poison from my collection and give it to him and make sure to get the whole payment from him. He doesn't owe me anything this time".

After sending the text I started working and signing files. I was signing some files and reading the notes that Ivan attches to it when there was knock on the door. I asked the person to come in continuing my work. Scarlet came inside and stood in front of me.

"You had meetings with head of design department. So lets go, the meeting room has already been prepared and they all are waiting for you in the meeting room", Scarlet said in her professional tone. She is a very capable assistant, I am telling you all. Actually I really had a good team. And because of them it was  easy to control and manage two big companies.

I nodded at her and took my phone and went to the meeting room.

Damon's P.O.V

I have just finished an important  meeting regarding the new hotel, when my secretary Cassie told me that there is a bouquet of black roses and a  parcel for me.

I raised my eyebrow and went inside my office. And there on the desk was a bunch of fresh black rose and a box near it. I could already imagine who send it from the flowers. Its only her who like black roses alot, so I know it's from her.

I saw a card in the bouquet and open it. There it was written "Game is on love". And I had a feeling that something is going to happen today. Let me tell you, you can ignore everyone threat if you want to but never ignores her even if its a childish threat because she always do what she says. So yeah I was worried about today.

I opened the box that was with it and found a broken crown. I sighed knowing that my tough and worse days are coming. Whats more is that I know who is trying to destroy me this time but still I can't do anything to that person because I fucking love her so much. I can't do anything to her but I still need to fight back and I have to be careful as to not to hurt her and be easy but I can't win against her if I go easy. Ahh its frustrating I am telling you.
