Chapter 74

Caterina's P.O.V

I usually talk to him with texts.

Katherine: Where is that client of yours and his spy.

Bob: Can you stop hacking my computer. I don't know they haven't contacted me. But they had sent the money.

Katherine: Can you stop saying that every time. That spy of his hasn't contacted us. We don't know about Kelly's situation. Is this how they are going to be.

Bob: I don't know. Maybe something has come up.

Katherine: I don't freaking care. Arrange a meeting with him tomorrow.

With that I left his computer. I didn't wait for his reply since  he had no choice but to arrange it.

I turned off my computer when Ivan came inside.

"Money", he said giving me the tab in which the transaction is written.

The client had wired 300 million dollars for now. I looked at the amount and raised my eyebrow.  Seems like he is not going to go back on his words. But it is still strange that he has not contacted us or the agency.

Although he might had got the information from his spy. But still he should have contacted the agency atleast.

I looked up to Ivan, there is really something going without us knowing.

"Find out what he is been upto. That client might be upto something. Oh and also unveil him. I want to know who he really is", I said to Ivan, he nodded and went outside.

Well its about time to know about our dear client. He is hiding something, the more he is hiding the more I want to know. Just who this client is in real.

As of right now it seems I have to focus on him instead of that old man. Someone will take care of him. Plus that oldman is no threat to me.

Ah should I make the old man meet him. Ah that would be great. Should I or should I not. Well I will ask Ivan about it once he comes back.

After completing all my work I went home. Today the house felt oddly quite which I really didn't like. Its too calm and peaceful for me.

I started some music to break the silence of the house. I looked outside the window, the weather was quite nice. The chilling and breezy wind, the smell of soil just before the rain. It seems like its going to rain. Ah I  like it. The breeze felt so nice.

Its a shame to stay at home in this kind of amazing weather. I looked at my watch and it was 7:00 pm. So I decided to go on a long drive.

I went upstair to my room and changed out of my clothes. Since I was going for just a ride I decided to wear simple clothes.

I wore one side off shoulder grey sweater with black leather A-line skirt and black boots. I did my hair in ponytail.

I took my phone and some money and went downstair towards my garage. Since the weather today is so good I decided to ride a jeep.

I love this kind of weather. And the best way to enjoy this kind of weather is to go on a ride in an open car or a jeep. It feels fresh and awesome.

So I decided to go with the jeep. I started my jeep and drove away from the empty house. I drove it without any destination. I let my instinct and mood take me where ever it wants.

Sometimes going without a destination in your mind can open a new world for you which you don't know. I took a deep breath and disappear in the night.

The cool breeze hitting on my skin feels really good. It's relaxing. All the stress and worries seems to be dissipated.
