25 : Night of the mates

Third pov :

A silence fell as Yoongi pacing around in the living room. Namjoon glances at Jin who sighed.

"So, aren't you gonna go and find Jimin?" Jin asked and Yoongi stops to look at them.

"I should ..but..how can I put them in words for him!" Yoongi panics as he paces around again. Namjoon chuckles.

"Well, the goddess is kind to you guys." Jin and Yoongi both turned to Namjoon.

"How?" Yoongi asked being curious and walks closer to Namjoon.

"Tomorrow is the night of mates. Means-"

"The full moon of the month.." Yoongi finishes and Namjoon snaps his fingers.

"Bingo!"

"The night where mates are marked and seal their bond," Jin adds and Yoongi looks down at his feet.

"I have to go now. I can't be late!" Jin and Namjoon nod before Yoongi grabbed his jacket and ran out.

He can't wait to find out if Jimin is his mate or not.

Yoongi's pov :

I ran to Jimin's family store but the store was closed for the day. But the faint scent was there still and my heart was beating as I walked to the back.

I saw the row of flowers and there was Jimin's mom. I sniffed a little until I was standing in front of her. Jimin's mom looks up to smile at me.

"Oh, Yoongi.  What brings you here?" She asked with a smile. I tried to focus on the scent and I'm sure by now that it is her scent that kind of draw me here but she can't be my mate cause-

"Is there's something wrong, dear?" I shook my head and smiled a little.

"Where is Jimin?" Her smile fades and she sighs.

"Did something happened between you two again?" She asked back which took me aback.

"Um...I guess I kind of hurt his feelings. And I'm very sorry for that. That's why I'm here to see him!" Jimin's mom nods.

"He cried a lot that day. I can't see him like that. He likes you a lot." I feel bad now, I made him cry ...

"I don't want to lose him again...I have found something...possibly he and I have a chance after all." Jimin's mother's eyes wides.

"Do you feel the pull too?" She asked with a hint of excitement. I was confused about how did she know about the pull but then let it slide because as far as I know Jimin, shares everything with his mother and that's a good thing in my book.

"Yes, I have finally figured out about this pull. But the scent I'm smelling relates to you but there's no way you can be my mate." She laughs.

"Of course not, silly!" I giggled too.

"There's a chance that Jimin might have adopted your scent if ...if I am his mate then I can compare it and figure it out." Jimin's mom smiled and cups my face.

"You should go to him quickly. He needs you." I nod and she told me that Jimin went to his grandma's house, back in Busan and she even gave me the address to his grandma's house.

It's late but I can reach Busan in the afternoon tomorrow. I bowed to his mom and quickly went home to grab some things before running to the train station.

I can't be late!
