41 : Baby shower

A week later

Jimin's pov :

As promised Tae did arrange a baby shower after knowing the genders. I didn't tell him or our parents about the other news. I don't want them to worry about me now, Yoongi worries a lot and now, I can see dark circles under his eyes.

Well, back to the baby shower...Tae arranged everything and Yoongi helped him along with Jeongguk. Oh! Jeongguk finally gathered up enough confidence to ask Tae out and I'm happy that they are ending up together.

My role for the baby shower was to sit down and watch as they run here and there, one of them comes back and asks about things then running off again, just like watching kids playing. This made me forget about the bad news we had and I felt happy for the whole day.

My parents came when we told them to come, Yoongi's dad was early as always. Jin-Hyung and Namjoon-Hyung were a little late because of their small bundle of joy. I told Seokjin-Hyung about the other news and he assured me that it is a common matter and he said as long as I'm doing a good job, our babies will be okay.

To be honest, I was relaxed and enjoying than worrying about anything now. Mom bought me a pretty outfit for today and she has taken care of everything. Dad and Yoongi's dad got along as well, that's a relief.

While thinking and watching everyone I was lost in thoughts until I smelled something nice beside me. Instantly I turned around to see Yoongi holding a plate with the barbeque they did. I smiled at him and he started to feed me, but we got caught by the party monsters.

"Ain't that cute!" Tae squeals while staring at his phone.

"You captured a good one, Hyung!" Jeongguk praises him which made Tae blush. Yoongi chuckled at them while I kept smiling, everything feels so nice.

"Are you feeling okay now?" Yoongi asked while wiping my mouth. I gave him a nod with a huge smile on my face then I felt it...

"Yoongi..." I gasped a little when I felt it again, Yoongi looks worried by now.

"What is it?" I wrapped my arms around my bump and then I felt it again.

"I can feel...their kicks.."Yoongi was shocked at first but quickly kneels in front of me and placed his hands on my stomach to feel it as well. Everyone started to gather around us when we both started to notice the small kicks of our pups.

"I can feel it too!" Yoongi chirps with a smile, I have never had such a sweet smile on his face before. Yoongi looked so happy that I don't know what else can make him smile this much than this moment now.

"Honey? Oh, my! Did I hurt you!" Yoongi quickly cupped my face, I blinked and everyone around me looked worried as well.

"What.."

"You are crying, dear." Mom answers and I touched my cheeks, they are wet and I didn't know about it.

"Are you okay? Do you want to rest?" Yoongi quickly got up and offered himself to help me.

"No! I mean I'm okay." Yoongi still looks concerned and kept his grip on my arm.

"I'm okay, Yoongi. I was just...so happy to see you are happy." Everyone sighs in relief and Seojun started to cry.

"That's me! Namjoon! Can you bring the diaper bag!" Seokjin-Hyung excuses himself and runs off to his baby. Yoongi came back and sat in front of me, everyone start to go when they saw we need some time alone.

"Are you sure? We can finish this ...and you can rest-"

"I'm okay, don't worry about me. Even so, everyone has seen each other after so long, I don't want to ruin that." Yoongi sighs and holds my hand before kissing them.

"Love, you and your health matters the most now." I smiled sweetly at him before leaning closer to kiss his cheek.

"Don't worry. I'll let you know." Yoongi nods with a smile, he rubs his thumb in my hands and stays with me until Tae calls him for the revealing.

I have such a caring family...you guys will have a great family out here, loves.

Yoongi's pov :

After the party, I had to clean everything. Well, Taehyung and Jeongguk stayed to help as well but they were tired too. So, I send them home before they collapse in my yard.

After finishing cleaning, I stretched out and my bones started to crack. Things are hard nowadays but that doesn't keep me from working hard for my babies. And today was both amazing and worrying.

"What is he up to now.." I hurried inside to see check up on Jimin, I told him to go to bed because he was sitting around and walking around a lot than usual, so I know he was tired.

I walked up to the stairs but stopped midway when I saw him laying on the couch, arms secured around his bump and mouth agape.

"This.." I sighed and walked back to him, he looks so tired and he fell asleep there. I understand but he needs to sleep in a comfortable place than being on the couch.

I don't want to wake him up and I don't want him to sleep here as well, I don't have any choice other than to carry him to the bed again but he became heavy these days and I'm not that built enough.

"What am I going to do..." I heard Jimin shifting in his sleep until he opens his eyes.

"I'm so sorry! I was taking a break before heading up and...fell asleep... I'm so sorry, Yoongi." A chuckle left my mouth he started to panic.

"It's okay, love. I would've carried you up anyway. So, let's go? You are tired and I can say that. Today was tough on you."Jimin grins and made grabby hands to me.

"It was fun though. I got to meet everyone except your mom. When is she coming back?" I hummed before shrugging my shoulders.

"I don't know. She said she will be back in few weeks. But you know her, she doesn't keep her words." Jimin giggles and it's been a while I heard him giggling.

"She's a busy woman." a peaceful silence fell upon us as we stayed still, hands-on hands.

"Yoongi..." I hummed as a reply, Jimin looks a little uncomfortable.

"I have a question.."

"Ask away." He took a deep breath and exhale slowly. He scoots closer and stares into my eyes.

"What would you have done if you didn't meet me that day?" I laughed a little but stopped quickly.

"Um...well, I would've had a tough time finding you or you would've found me." He tilt his head, being confused.

"How could I find you?" I wrapped my arms around his small frame before smiling at him.

"Like you always do." Jimin melts in my arms as I saw his eyelids are slowly closing.

"Cosy?" He nods and rests his head on my shoulder.

"I feel safe and nice with you. It happened when I first saw ...trying to scare off those kids. I felt like I want to know you and be close to you which I normally don't do to any alphas I met." I was surprised by Jimin's words.

"And?"

"You felt cozy and warm. Like home and I was confused because I have seen a lot of alphas and their scent always put me off but your scent was amazing. Like it was like a drug." I chuckled at his statement.

"I'm serious. It still feels like that and I don't mind when it gets strong when you are in your rut or you get jealous." I blinked and nuzzle my nose into his lavender hair.

"Now, I love how we are smelling...half you and half me.." he finishes and stops talking. He fell asleep while staying quiet.

You don't know how glad I am to be with you and how lucky I am to have you and it's an amazing feeling that where we had a low chance to be together, now we came so far that we are babies together.

"I love you so much, petal."
