Erik pulled out the syringe carefully studying the blue liquid inside.
"I should get rid of this" he decided 'After all Kaylin and Jack have proven themselves time and again'
"Knock, knock" Peter called from the other side of the door. Erik quickly slipped the syringe back into his pocket.
"Come in" he called pretending to read a book.
"Hey Dad," Peter said opening the door "I have a robotics meeting tonight Wanda said she'd drive me"
"Okay have fun and stay out of trouble we don't want another zip tie incident" Erik reminded him.
"It's not my fault the Mentors left the large zip ties out" Peter crossed his arms.
"It is your fault that all the tools were covered in zip ties" Erik responded.
"Fine" Peter sighed "I won't zip tie anything"
"Or" Erik looked up waiting for Peter to finish.
"Or ducktape stuff to the workbench or create a hundred computer folders to hide the Cad parts" Peter groaned "Can I go now?"
"Yes love you," Erik said pretending to go back to his book.
"Love you too Dad" Peter called closing the door.
Timeskip
Erik accidentally got interested in the book he was fake reading and decided to actually read it. He was on the fifth chapter when he received a call."Just great" He sighed picking up the phone
"Hello I'm one of the mentors on your son's robotics team" the voice answered "And I noticed he wasn't here today so I just wanted to call and see if he was okay"
"Hold on let me call you right back," Erik said hanging up. He then dialed Wanda's number "Hey where are you?"
"Hanging out with a couple of friends at the coffee shop why?" She asked.
"Is Peter with you?!" Erik started to panic.
"No I dropped him off at the high school" Wanda replied.
"A mentor called and said he never came," Erik told her trying to keep his voice steady.
"I'll call his phone," Wanda said hanging up. Erik waited impatiently for her to text him. Wanda finally texted back: No answer. Erik had a sick feeling in his gut. He quickly dialed another number.
"Charles I need you to use that mind-tracking thing," Erik said "Peter's missing"
Meanwhile
"Hey there, you little brat" a voice called lifting the sack off Peter's head. He took a careful look around. It looked like he was in some kind of old school but definitely not his."Who are you and where am I" Peter growled.
"Don't you know growling is only for dogs" The figure stepped out of the shadows it was a girl. She wore a porcelain dog mask. Around the left eyehole was a large blood stain and a small crack.
"You don't know who you're messing with" Peter glared.
"Oh I have a pretty good idea" the dark-haired girl replied "A family of mutants and two useless vigilantes is that right"
"My dad is Magneto and my siblings are Quicksilver and the Scarlet Witch" Peter warned.
"Please I know that" The girl lifted her mask to reveal that she was Lizzy. She was also missing an eye "And frankly, it just doesn't scare me" she replied putting the mask back on.
"You hurt so much as one hair of me they will tear you to shreds" he growled.
"I won't hurt a single hair on your head" Even with the mask on Peter could tell she was grinning "And this is the one I won't hurt," she said holding a single piece of hair.
"Who do you think you are, George Burns" Peter yawned at her lame joke.
"Who?" She tilted her head confused.
"You know George Burns he was this really famous comedian," Peter told her "and unlike you he was funny"
"Oh, great Wanda has you watching those corny old shows" Lizzy sighed in annoyance.
"Oh, I memorized most of them" Peter smirked "Let's start with whose on first!"
"No no no" Lizzy groaned covering her ears as Peter carried on performing old comedy acts "MAKE IT STOP!" and of course, he didn't stop.
