Chapter 1 : Silver and Grey

I made my way over to the black limousine waiting for me at the entrance of Axel Manor. I slid into the back seat and found myself next to Naomi. Her attire was formal, which was customarily for that of a Royal. She wore a royal blue fitted dress with the length ending just below her knee, paired with a pair of six inch nude heels. Her golden brown and blonde hair was swirled into a neat twist with wayward tendril hanging about. She looked elegant.
"Why the long face?" She asked looking up from her phone." Do you disapprove of the uniform? I for one never approved of the logo."

Naomi Axel is the closet thing I have to family. She raised me as her own but never smothered me as a normal parent would have their only daughter but then again I wasn't her daughter. Not by blood anyway. In her eyes I was hers therefore I was to be considered Royalty right along with her.

The Axel's never approved of Naomi's choice to adopt me. They were a distinguished family and being Royal just added to their status. They were not only one of the founding families of our society but also well respected by members of the High council.

Naomi was loyal to her friends and it just so happened that my mum happened to be one of them.
She told me that she never wanted me to be short of anything. Never wanted me to be affected by the decisions of my mother or bare any of it alone. She did her best to shield me from the stigma that came along with a mother for a fugitive.

Many moons ago or so the tale goes the world was run by three upright kingdoms. The Silver Kingdom of the north, The Grey kingdom of the east and last but not least the Axel Kingdom of the west. Each was known for their legendary warrior skills and special abilities. They lived in peace with one other. So much so that on the eve of every Lunar Eclipse all three Royal families were to attend a feast to celebrate the many years of good fortune over their kingdoms. But like every great legend there was a Villain.

The Black Kingdom of the South was just that. They were known for their brutality and ill treatment of their subjects. It was ruled by a uncouth and arrogant family known for their destructive nature. They were against the alliance of the other three kingdoms and waited patiently for an opportune time to strike. On the Eve of the Lunar Eclipse the Black Kingdom attacked with numbers far to greater then the 3 kingdoms combined. It was a blood bath. Many members of the royal families was slaughtered. In an attempt to save the alliance that existed Naomi's family,the Axel's, protected the eldest child of the remaining families.

After many years of waiting to avenge their loved and fallen ones, the 3 kingdoms jointly attacked the Black Kingdom head on. After their victory it was agreed that they assemble a Council. What was meant to cause divination severed as the very foundation of their profound loyalty to each other. They each opened their arms to the injured and grieved the losses of their fallen warriors together. The royals who had survived the dreadful encounter with the Black Kingdom was soon enknowleged as memebers.

Many years of peace and harmony followed. The Council became well know as the High Council after their successful attempts at keeping the enemy at bay and maintaining peace through all 3 Kingdoms. Many of the subjects of the Black Kingdom sort refuge and citizenship from the High Council.  After deliberation the Treaty of Concord a was to be signed by all 4 Royals, including the Royal head of the Black Kingdom. Soon those who opposed the treaty became known as the Black Order and still rebelled against the wishes of the High Council. The High Council decided that it was best to establish a task force that contained a Royal member of each Kingdom hence the Elite Fore was formed. Prince Theon Sliver, Princess Naomi Axel ,Araya Blackwell and Darius Grey.
