Will's POV (I know I know but it's necessary)

Jennifer and Emily are close and quite frankly I don't like it because I spent almost an entire date once hearing about that... that woman. All I did was ask about college and how the academy was and all I heard was Emily this and Emily that. And now she just comes in and translates this note in what a minute. And I can't even talk shit about her to the other officers because of course she speaks french. I hope Jennifer and Emily get into a fight or something because if this woman is back from whatever top-secret thing she was on it's all I will ever hear about, Jennifer talks about her like she's in love with her or something.

Reid and Rossi just gave me the translated note and look at that our serial killer's a homophobe and I don't blame him. Emily looks gay with her off-center belt and her alpha male personality and even her age is right since she's like what 25...because she's like a fucking genius or something... maybe the killer will target her next. Maybe I can even put her in the killer's spotlight so he needs to have her or some shit like that. Like I would be able to do that but that doesn't mean I don't hope she'll be the next victim. Oh great, they're back.

Hotch's POV

I was going to talk to Emily about what happened with Will on the tarmac but looking at how he's acting towards her it would make her uncomfortable...That's something that I wouldn't bother doing and allow the agent to come to me first, however, I don't know if it's because she looks younger than Reid or not but I feel responsible for her, and in she's my younger sister sort of way... It's like that detective hates her but he's never met her before, I'll have to talk to Dave about it, maybe Morgan as well. I'll ask them in the SUV I'm going to go have us pick up lunch.

"Hey, Rossi Morgan could you guys come with me to go get lunch since you guys can't really do anything more at the moment" I currently have JJ & Prentiss interviewing family members, and Reids still working on the Geographical profile, meaning we don't have anything else we can use to profile at the moment.

As soon as we get in the car Dave asks me a question

Rossi: "Ok what's up because it doesn't take 3 people to go get lunch"

Hotch: "Have you guys noticed how Detective LaMontange acts around Prentiss"

Morgan: "Like how he acts like he has a problem with her even though they've never met, and how disrespectful and dismissive he is."

Hotch: "Good I'm not the only one because his behavior is concerning"

Rossi: "There's no reason for it and he was fine until she said her name, but it was worse when JJ said Emily translated the note"

Hotch: "It was out of nowhere, and I know Prentiss has only been on the team for a few days really but I feel as if she'll be a good fit and I don't want him to discourage her from staying on this team. Especially since we all like her"

Rossi & Morgan: "Exactly"

Rossi: "I'm just concerned because she's uncomfortable around him now, I mean who wouldn't with the behavior he's displaying. I just don't want her to start doubting herself after what happened this past week and a half because she seems like a great agent"

Hotch: nods in agreement

Morgan: "Agreed but we should get back soon"

JJ's POV

Somethings off with Will and I'm worried because he's being extremely hostile towards Emily and to a profiler and her best friend it's really easy to tell she's uncomfortable. I'll talk to her about it in the hotel, but him, I'm talking to him now. I won't break up with him until we're about to leave for the sake of the case...because seriously I don't think he could be professional and not act like a child... but I can't have him bothering Emily. Because I don't want her to rebuild her walls which are surprisingly partially down with the team.

Emily went to the conference room to go through all the notes to make sure she didn't miss anything. And I see Will in the break room so I start to go over. When I walk through the door he looks at me with his so-called charming smile and says.

Will: "Hey sweetheart"

JJ: "What's wrong with you, why are you acting like that towards Emily it's unprofessional" I question

Will: "What do you mean Jennifer" he says in anger

JJ: "You're being dismissive, and disrespectful, and acting like you despise her even though you've never met her before" I say my words filled with spite. I continue before giving him time to speak "You need to stop and be nice to her because no one treats my best friend like that it's rude and I will not tolerate it do you understand"

I storm out before he can answer and almost run into the boys minus Reid. Rossi puts his hand on my shoulders seeing the anger and says "you good" I grumble out a fine thanks, then walk away before they can ask me any more questions. Even though I'm pretty sure they already know that I'm angry because of Will.

By now we are all sitting in the conference room barely able to keep our eyes open, and we're surrounded by dead ends. Hotch finally notices our exhaustion and tells us all to go back to the hotel. From next to me I hear a sigh of relief, and I'm relieved that now I'm able to talk to Emily about Will, both about how he's being an ass and about how I need to break up with him.

General POV

The car ride was silent and awkward, Emily needed to ask JJ about Will, and JJ wanted to ask Emily if she was ok. Both not knowing how to phrase their questions decided to wait until they were at the hotel. Once they got to the hotel the elevator ride wasn't much better, but at least it wasn't silent. And while walking down the hallway they were both preparing themselves for a conversion that would be easier than they thought it would be.

Once they entered their room Emily flopped down onto the singular queen-sized bed that stood in the middle of the room. Both women were completely exhausted and stuck in their own minds. JJ spoke first after she realized she should apologize for Will's behavior.

JJ: "Sorry for Will's behavior earlier. I don't know what got into him, he never acts like that."
Emily: "It's ok. And why are you apologizing? It's not your fault."

JJ: "But he's my boyfriend, and he only started acting like that after you said your name. Which leads me to believe he didn't like something I told him about you that time he asked about college and the academy."

Emily: "Again it's not your fault and just to be clear he doesn't usually act like this, because if he did you and we would be having a very serious conversation about your choice of men right now" she says the last jokingly with a smile

JJ: "No, but after this, you will never have to worry about that asshole again seeing as I'm breaking up with him"

Emily: "Please tell me you aren't breaking up with him because of me because if you are don't because I'm sure he's actually a great guy."

JJ: "One, I already wanted to break up with him but I was going to wait until the next time we met up for the weekend. And two I will absolutely break up with him as soon as the case is over because of how he's treating you. Because no one and I mean NO one treats my best friend like that"

Emily: "What did I do to deserve you, also how did you forget that your boyfriend existed" she asks laughing

JJ: "Oh shut it"

Both women relieved start to get ready for bed, and almost immediately fall asleep as soon as their heads hit the pillows. The same thing happened to the rest of the team in the other rooms...
