Lights and Darks: The Foreigners

Broken.

Blake had reached a breaking point. He thought it was impossible, but they achieved it.

"Why don't you call your daddy to come and save you?"

He was quietly crying in his cell as the pain from the past struck him. He was such a mess that he couldn't tell you what was happening. An officer came over with food and noticed his tensed position. The officer entered the cage and put a hand on his shoulder. Blake made no motion as he stared at the wall. The officer left to go alert the higher ups.

Blue's mother went in as he trembled weakly. One sentence and he could break any minute now. He was pulled into a hug, where the tears went from a small leak to a flood. He couldn't hold himself together after that. He felt something wrapped around him and him get carried away to somewhere. He couldn't tell you what was happening as he was carried to a softer surface and a series of voices filling the air. Time was having a battle over him as he started passing out again.

Blue quickened her pace as her and Sōdo arrived at the center. The fact that she had gotten a call said enough. Her mother greeted her and led her to a small, closed off looking room.

"We kept tabs on everything. We don't know what broke him." She let them in and pointed to a couch where Blake was trembling. "All I know was that a guard found him in this state in his cell. No guard had talked to him and all the prisoners don't know what they had exactly said that did it. We only know that it was a prisoner. But until we know what was said, we can't point fingers."

Blue gulped as she looked at the small boy. He hadn't moved from his shaking position. She went over with Sōdo at her side and pulled Blake into a weak hug. He put his head on her shoulder as tears kept staining his face. Sōdo ran a hand through his hair as he finally pulled back into reality. Whatever had been holding him finally let go as he pulled away and he leaned against Sōdo.

"Blake?" He looked up at her as she got a cloth to clean his face. "What happened?" He shook his head as the pain returned. Sōdo rubbed his back as he drifted off. Blake looked up and paused.

"Sōdo...?" The male smiled as he ran a hand through his hair. Blue hummed.

"Blake... what was said?" He paused as the tears reformed.

"T-t-they.... H-had... they had s-said... uh... a-about calling my dad to save me..." He then bursted back into tears, resulting in the duo calming him back down.

"Oh no. You don't have to do such a thing. Relax..." Blake trembled as he buried his face into Sōdo's chest.

A soft chuckle escaped someone as they watched the duo carry the small boy back.

"Ich habe dich gefunden, mein lieber Sklave. Sie glauben, dass Sie in Sicherheit sind. Aber ich werde dich nach Hause bringen. Warten Sie einfach auf mich, während ich Sie nach Hause bringe, wo Sie wirklich hingehören. Warten Sie auf mein Signal und erheben Sie sich für mich. Ich werde dich wiedervereinigen und retten!"
